Sasuke Shinden: The Teacher's Star Pupil (NARUTO -ナルト- サスケ新伝 師弟の星, Naruto: Sasuke Shinden: Shitei no Hoshi) is an original story written by Jun Esaka and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto. It is the third instalment of the Naruto Shinden series. It takes place sometime after the Versus Momoshiki Arc.
Synopsis
Sasuke has begun training with Boruto and Team 7! During that time a popular idol of the Land of Fire, Lily, has requested protection from Boruto and his friends for a live performance, but there's a massive plot that has been put into motion behind their backs...!? With the new village as centre stage, questions such as what is master, and what is student, draws the curtains back on a new generation of ninja battles!
Due to mysterious terrorists, there's been an explosion incident of the electric train. Since Konohamaru was injured by it, Sasuke is the substitute to be in charge of Team 7: Boruto and his comrades…!?
Summary
While Konohamaru returns to Konohagakure on the Thunder Train from his solo mission of delivering something to the Fifth Kazekage, he becomes fixated on dinner plans, during which he notices Sasuke travelling in his carriage. Sleepy, he leans on his window, but knocks his head right before an explosion occurs at the end of the train, resulting in a panic amongst the passengers. Identifying himself as a Konoha shinobi, he instructs the civilians to remain calm and avoid a panic. Unable to find Sasuke in his carriage, Konohamaru exits a window to climb the train's roof, in order to rush towards the scene of the disaster.
