File:Creature Using Ninjutsu.png

The creature using Space–Time Ninjutsu.

The creature is very stealthy, able to spy at the gate of Konohagakure without being detected. Its vision is linked to Shin Uchiha and his son's, enabling them to notice the movements of their targets.[1] The creature can also act as a verbal communication medium, seen as Shin received orders from his father through it. By taking on the form of Shin's Mangekyō Sharingan, the creature can use a type of space–time ninjutsu, although it is unknown if it possesses this ability itself or if it acts once again as a medium.[2]

Epilogue

Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring

Main article: Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring One of the creatures noticed Sarada Uchiha departing from Konohagakure. Upon Shin see this via their linked vision, he orderd one of his sons to capture her. Seeing as the clone couldn't capture her with the interference from the Seventh Hokage, the creature suggested that they retreat, which the creature did by using space–time ninjutsu.[2]

Later, when its master was ready to begin another attack, one of the creatures at the Ridge Tower teleported Shin and one of his sons to its location. After the father and son were defeated, the creature teleported them and Sakura Uchiha back to their hideout. When the Shin clones betrayed their father, Shin attempted to kidnap Sarada and Chōchō for hostage purposes, ordering one of the creatures to take them. Quickly, Sarada caught sight and punched the creature in the eye, killing it. However, other clones of the creature exist and its whereabouts are unknown.
