He is very obsessed with his work. He valued his work more then others lives until Naruto saved him even after how rude he had been. He would even fight a hopeless battle to protect his work.

Part I
Shin'emon travelled to a another land with Naruto Uzumaki and Kiba Inuzuka while transporting an artefact he created. Along the way, they are attacked by bandits and the artefact is broken. However, Shin'emon reveals that he can simply create a new one, shocking Naruto and Kiba.
