Shinta (シンタ) is a young citizen of Konohagakure.

Background

He refused to let Chōji Akimichi play "ninja" with him when they were children, saying he was useless even though if he was not allowed to play, the teams would be uneven.

Personality

He is a seemingly self-centred boy who immediately says what he is thinking, regardless of whether or not it will hurt someone's feelings.

Appearance

He had short, dark brown hair and dark eyes and had two rectangular markings on his cheeks. He wore a green pageboy-style cap, grey shirt and a pair of dark-coloured pants.

Trivia

• A young boy sharing Shinta's character design makes a brief cameo in episode 212 of the original Naruto anime.
  • Another similar-looking boy, Toshi, appears in Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4.
• His facial markings are similar to those of Rin's.
