Shizuma Hoshigaki (干柿屍澄真, Hoshigaki Shizuma) is a shinobi of Kirigakure's Hoshigaki Clan.

Personality

Shizuma wants to restore Kiri to the way it was in the era of the Bloody Mist. He seems to have respect for people who stand up for themselves and possesses an interest in Boruto Uzumaki.

Abilities

Shizuma is a natural-born combat maniac. He wields a sword, hinting at skill in kenjutsu. During his first meeting with Boruto, he showed blazing speed, completely disappearing from Boruto's gaze and appearing right before him unnoticed.

New Era

Field Trip Arc

When Hassaku gets into a fight with Boruto, Shizuma breaks it up and tells him to leave the Academy kids alone. Before leaving the scene, he compliments Boruto for having guts to stand up against Hassaku, and tells the students to enjoy their stay in the Village of the Bloody Mist.

Trivia

• Shizuma's given name literally means "corpse serene truth" (屍澄真), while his surname means "dried persimmon" (干柿).
• In his model sheets he is depicted wearing a sleeveless haori, with gills beneath his eyes similar to his fellow clansman Kisame Hoshigaki, though these features are currently absent from his anime depiction.
