This unnamed space time jutsu, centered in his right eye, allows Madara to teleport himself or anything he touches to another location or a pocket dimension, the latter of which is implied to be inescapable.[1] When observed, it was noted that Madara's chakra would become untraceable when he phases into objects, and also when he teleports to avoid any damage. According to Madara, he can locate anyone and teleport to them, as he found the group Taka as they traveled to Konoha, as well as Minato Namikaze, who himself had teleported.[2][3]

Kakashi Hatake likens this technique's characteristics to Minato's Flying Thunder God Technique because it is also a time and space manipulation technique, but notes that Madara's version seems to be much more versatile. The ability can be used without predefined locations and without hand seals.

Similar to Kakashi's Mangekyō Sharingan technique Kamui, Madara is also capable of teleporting other people to a separate dimension, which is conducted in a similar manner as his "self-teleportation", in that the same swirling patterning, centered upon his right eye, is present. However, instead of teleporting the targeted component, this technique's effect acts as an attractive force, both visibly drawing the target inwards and distorting their form until they disappear. Unlike Kamui, this technique requires Madara to make physical contact with his opponents, leaving him vulnerable as he is not intangible.[4] When displayed, the separate dimension appears to be largely composed of a random arrangement of various rectangular prisms.[5]

It was originally assumed that technique can also be used to transport only parts of Madara's body elsewhere, leaving him visible to opponents but impervious to attack and physical harm. This however, was shown to be incorrect, as Madara instead becomes intangible to allow attacks to pass through him.

The primary weakness of this technique as revealed by Konan, is that Madara can only remain intangible for five minutes at a time and must be tangible in order to transport himself. The amount of time needed to transport something is also increased by the size of the mass he intends to transport.
