This page name seems to be using the Romaji name directly taken from the subbed version (assuming this is even a technique, I don't have time to verify by watching the anime right now). So essentially, the name sounds mythological, but nobody knows what the mythology is? That seems problematic.

Well, it seems to be a combination of a star constellation's name and the usual naming scheme of deities. No clue if it was invented specifically for Boruto, but it seems to be the case. The name seems to be in reference to a particular version of the story. The Tango Fudoki version. This version has the box called tamakushige using the Kanji: 玉匣, same as Gyokkō. It also features "first seven, then eight children, who represent the constellations of Pleiades and Taurus".
