Medium

Temporary Paralysis Technique?

Does anyone else think that this technique is rather similar to the Temporary Paralysis Technique? Ino just uses it with a medium, and more like an ambush than a ninjutsu.--Joolushko Tunai Fenta Hovalis (talk) 16:36, March 14, 2012 (UTC)

Temp Paralysis Technique doesn't require a medium though. So that's where the difference is. Funnily enough though all Yamanaka should learn the Temporary Paralysis technique xD but then they always have a Nara.--Cerez₃₆₅™ 22:47, March 14, 2012 (UTC)

I never said that the Temporary Paralysis Technique required a medium, though. Let me clarify. Just like Shikamaru has the chakra blades absorb his shadow imitation technique, I'm implying that Ino has her hair absorb the Temporary Paralysis Technique: a hair-grenade. LOL. Anyway, it just seemed odd that this technique is unnamed, when it is so similar to an earlier technique. Seems like a missed opportunity for the databooks.

But you're right that every Yamanaka should learn the Temporary Paralysis Technique. Actually, it might be useful for a lot of ninja. Think of Tenten; no more enemies trying to evade her weapons, hahaha. Secret Technique Stone Needles

Let's bring life back into the debate on this ancient unnamed technique, is it not unlike Secret Technique Stone Needles? Both require a medium that uses chakra to paralyse the opponent. It is depicted similarly in both media with chakra running through the hair/wire. The only difference is the kunai used to initiate the technique rather than waiting for someone to step on it.
