Tailed Beasts[]
I'm not sure if I'm overlooking something, but from what I know, it was never said that Hagoromo used this technique to create the tailed beasts... the fourth databook says
- "He likewise created the nine bodies of the Bijuu from Ten Tails' chakra, making them another gift of Yin and Yang Release." (Suzaku's translation)
and chapter 510 says
- "The Bijū are also an example of this... By using the power of Yin-Yang Release (陰陽遁, Onmyōton), he created each and every bijū from the chakra of the Jūbi." (ShounenSuki's translation). • Seelentau 愛 議 16:30, August 13, 2017 (UTC)
- Just so I'm clear, you're arguing that while Hagoromo did create the tailed beasts, he didn't do so with this specific technique? It seems very counter-intuitive to name a mean of creating stuff while describing creating stuff for it not to be the name of the mean used to create stuff. - Yes, that's what I'm saying. And the manga/db doesn't give the TB as an example of CoAT, but as an example of YYR. • Seelentau 愛 議 17:13, August 13, 2017 (UTC)

- If Hagoromo didn't use COAT to create them, why was it even mentioned? Was it just a name drop of an example of Hagoromo's hype powers? It seems overkill to mention something like this for it not to be important in anyway as far as plot goes. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 22:41, August 19, 2017 (UTC)
- It was mentioned because they are another product of YYR. The whole text was never about COAT, but about what Hagoromo did with YYR. Notice how the text says likewise/also. • Seelentau 愛 議 22:49, August 19, 2017 (UTC)
