how does it work
it says The technique then explodes on command,
it can't be taijutsu technique if the user does something (remotely) on command; that is established in the narutoverse to only be possibly done via chakra control which would imply ninjutsu and might guy can't do it (common knowledge). so either it is not taijutsu or that is a false statement. but since it is taijutsu (common knowledge) than it means that that statement is false- it does not explode on command, something else is happening (maybe explodes upon contact, maybe he sends another smaller wave...).
