Chakra Absorption Technique

Little doubt/suggestion here. Is this technique supposed to be able to absorb chakra by itself, no matter who is using it, or is it actually just a dome of earth around the target, and the ability to absorb chakra simply comes from Jirobou, who kind of "channels" it throuh the dome? I personally think it's the second.--Kind-Hearted-One (talk) 13:58, May 11, 2012 (UTC)

Jirobo was never said to have the ability to absorb chakra, so it definitely comes from this technique. Skitts (talk) 14:05, May 11, 2012 (UTC)
I do think during his fight with Chōji, he said that the genin had barely enough chakra left to make a decent meal for him.--Cerez365Hyūga Symbol(talk) 15:30, May 11, 2012 (UTC)
Jirōbō did possess the ability to absorb chakra through direct contact, one example being page 8 of chapter 190, so it is likely that this aspect of the technique stems from him, which I believe the description in the article already represents. Blackstar1 (talk) 15:47, May 11, 2012 (UTC)
Ah, you're right, my bad, xD Skitts (talk) 15:53, May 11, 2012 (UTC)

Isn't the standard on this wiki, for jutsu articles with English name given kanji that somewhat match the pronunciations, to name them after the pronunciations? This one seems to combine the pronunciation and the literal English for the article name. --ScruffyC (talk) 14:28, September 4, 2013 (UTC)
