Is this page necessary?

Its basically an elbow jab, while he's covered with his lightning release technique....We're not gonna make pages for evry punch, kick & jab are we?..--AlienGamer--Talk (contribs)-- 07:12, September 11, 2009 (UTC)

This too would follow Painful Sky Leg and Cherry Blossom Impact. The fact that the kanji spells out Heavy Flowing Storm doesn't hurt it either.--TheUltimate3 (talk) 11:27, September 11, 2009 (UTC)
Then call it that, otherwise, this technique's page is pointless. We don't need an article just because the manga says "Elbow". That's insane. If the manga came out next week, and by a panel of Naruto it said "Punch" or "Kick" would we create an article for it? I think not. ~NOTASTAFF Ryun Uchiha (Ten Tailed Fox, Getsueikirite-taichou) (talk) 19:32, November 9, 2009 (UTC)
If the kanji says one thing and means another, and has some sort of interesting effect added to it then yes, Naruto's "Punch" would be a jutsu. This is a jutsu. It stays, gg.
Also, we DO need an article if it appears in the manga. That's how a extensive encyclopedia works, if it exists we make an article for it.--TheUltimate3 (talk) 20:18, November 9, 2009 (UTC)
If this ends up being like Arhat Fist, then we can consolidate these moves into one article. We just need to wait for that one article. ~SnapperTo 22:25, November 9, 2009 (UTC)

Running the kanji for this technique through a translator revealed that it translates as 'Heavy Style Violence'.

Now, I would like to edit the article, but I'd like for it not to be reverted back, so can one of you guys edit the Literal English for this technique? --Reikson (talk) 03:49, May 20, 2010 (UTC)

I'm sorry I never replied before. I tend to forget to explain my actions ><
First of all, you're right. 暴 does translate to violence. However, it also translates to outburst.
In fact, outburst is the most common translation of this kanji and the way it is used, it's meaning lies closer to outburst than to violence. In this case, both could be used, but I believe outburst is more appropriate and the common usage of the kanji only adds to that. --ShounenSuki (talk | contribs) 13:49, June 28, 2010 (UTC)
Really? --Reikson (talk) 14:41, June 28, 2010 (UTC)
  • You know what, forget I even mentioned anything. Fix the damn translation if you want. I ever write a Naruto fanfic that has this jutsu in it, I'll translate the kanji as "Heavy-Style Violence" and I'd like to see you stop me. --Reikson (talk) 15:15, June 28, 2010 (UTC)
Stay civil. You asked a question, he answered.--TheUltimate3 (talk) 16:02, June 28, 2010 (UTC)
