Position

I think he is same position as Yura of Sungakure, remember chyo said it youra was leader of some sort in Sungakure and killing him self of work being a leader, so maybe this guy was same as Yura, just Yura showed formidable taijutsu skills, but this guy looks to me more like long rage fighter and weak in taijutsu, also his apearence show that he has maybe a many injury due to a bandages on head and probably no right eye...But that is a teory...178.222.7.203 (talk) 21:10, November 11, 2011 (UTC)

Aperently Gashira is an oficer in japanese crime organisation Yakuza, he is right under the leader of Yakuza clan, see here http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/shatei_gashira I also found somewhere that Gashira were heads or ministers of diferent departments in Japan in old days...YamatoTakeru (talk) 19:47, October 6, 2012 (UTC)

Yūra would hold the same position in his village as Homura and Koharu does in Konoha. This shinobi would be on the same level as Shikaku Nara, not them. I'm not sure what Gashira has to do with this...--Cerez365^™

How so? Darui might be the Raikage's right hand man, but that doesn't mean he's the one to represent Kumogakure in diplomatic meetings. Team Samui is closer to that than he is.
