- Some might find being able to throw the knife by detaching the wire okay, but then why have the wire in the first place?
- There is apparently a limit to how far you can have the launcher and still activate it (wrist muscles or something), and since it is a weapon made for stealth and speedy use, the closer it is to the wrist the faster it can be used (and yes milliseconds could make a difference)

Jiraiya[]
Jiraiya used something similar to this in the most recent anime episode, when he was hanging off of the bottom of a bridge. Should he be added? I wasn't sure because I'm not sure if it'd need to be spring-loaded to count. Skitts (talk) 23:29, November 3, 2011 (UTC)
Ability[]
Isn't this technique sort of similar to how Hanzo Hasashi, a.k.a. Scorpion, does it from Mortal Kombat? I mean, the kunai is hidden within the sleeve or anything that conceals the ninjas' bottom forearm(s) while launching the kunai that is spring-loaded.
