Kamakiri

Is there any way he can know for certain with the "kamakiri" portion of the name is in katakana and not kanji as in 鎌切? Same question for the jellyfish Medical Water Release. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 16:59, April 9, 2015 (UTC)

most likely my mistake. Change it if you can/want. Omojuze (talk) 17:37, April 9, 2015 (UTC)
It's not necessarily a mistake. This seems to be one of those words that can be written more than one way. I just want to make sure we have to one most likely to have been used in this instance. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 17:38, April 9, 2015 (UTC)
The usual way of writing the names of animals is Katakana. Since we likely won't ever get the correct Japanese name, it's the most safest assumption we can make, hm? • Seelentau 愛 18:15, April 9, 2015 (UTC)
