According to the third databook, Ichiraku has already been around for 34 years and the name should actually be Ramen Ichiraku (ラーメン一楽, Rāmen Ichiraku), which probably is supposed to be taken as something like 'ramen is the best pleasure'. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 18:14, May 7, 2011 (UTC)

Should we write "ramen" or "rāmen"?--LeafShinobi (talk) 19:17, May 7, 2011 (UTC)
I'd go with 'ramen'. Its popularity and ubiquity in Western countries nowadays means this is more than just a mere loanword nowadays. Using the Anglicised spelling is more than justified. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 19:26, May 7, 2011 (UTC)
So I have another question: which way of writing is correct "anesthesia" or "anaesthesia"?--LeafShinobi (talk) 19:41, May 7, 2011 (UTC)
I think we use the "ae" spelling for Englih UK.--Cerez365™☺ 19:48, May 7, 2011 (UTC)
