Um, since when does Naruto Not know the Rope Escape Jutsu(I prefer the English TV vershion of Jutsu FYI). When does the show say Naruto can't do it. I remember in the first Naruto movie he says he needs to work on it, and during his fight with Sasuke in the Sasuke Recovery Mission, how did he get free from the wires if he can't do it? If anybody has any proof please tell me.

I think it was a shadow clone that sasuke tied up

Why didn't Ibiki Morino use this jutsu to escape, when he got caught by Aoi Rokushō. Desai1234 (talk) 01:24, July 28, 2010 (UTC)

  1. Because that was filler.
  2. There are most likely ways to tie up a shinobi so they cannot use this technique.

I think Sasuke was joking when he said that, meaning Naruto didn't tie the ropes tight enough and he broke loose :P--CDi-Fails (talk) 00:55, December 6, 2010 (UTC)

Isnt this done by using chakra to cut the rope or simply by using replacement technique ?--Elveonora (talk) 01:21, October 10, 2011 (UTC)

I don't think the workings of this technique were ever elaborated, unless its databook entry goes into more detail than what we currently have. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 01:49, October 10, 2011 (UTC)

Well, considering we have (not) seen :D this in action just once, and its been ages since then ... I dont see Kishi returning to this for proper explanation. --Elveonora (talk) 01:58, October 10, 2011 (UTC)

Ok just wonderin, does this actually exist. I know Sasuke said he used it in the series, but is there any proof it actually exists. Literally no one has used it since Sasuke said something about it, and I forgot what episode it was, but I got the impression Kakashi helped him. --Deadmagic (talk) 01:18, August 14, 2013 (UTC)ZBG

It got a databook entry, it exists. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 01:21, August 14, 2013 (UTC)
