I don't know. I hoped there would be more input regarding how to consider people users of this technique. People who were mentioned to use it? People who entered Konoha and weren't detected when they shouldn't have been? Do they simply detect were the person goes through the barrier? Can they detect how powerful they are? Pain's rain technique could detect power levels, but not who specifically. If they simply entered the village disguised, they'd be detected as entering, but people could have thought they were different people. Not that I think it'll change anything, but I think the ANBU were too busy thanks to the invasion that they weren't able to either keep the barrier up or sense it. Doubt the Sound Nina Four knew a Jutsu that helps them to get past a sensory barrier surrounding a specific Hidden Village. --X29 02:57, February 3, 2013 (UTC)

Anbu don't maintain or monitor the barrier, the Konoha Barrier Team does. The whole passing through thing is a mystery to me. I understand how Itachi passed through and Orochimaru I guess (other Anbu by extension as well) I kinda think it's dumb that they'd ever need to do it though. As for the Sound Four, I guess Orochimaru could have taught them how or something. The barrier should be able to do all we saw it do during the war (unless that was modified) and I think it might have detected Team Samui entering the village?
