Question about Itachi Shinden novels, and their american translation.

I read that Shisui is a Genin, only "a few" years older than 5yr old Itachi, on this wikia. I was wondering what was actually said there in the japanese original, and if there is any way to determine a range of age for Shisui using this. QuakingStar (talk) 04:09, January 8, 2017 (UTC)

When discussing the friend he "killed", Shisui says they graduated together and joined the same genin team. Less than a year later, immediately after the Third Shinobi World War ended, the friend died on a mission and Shisui felt responsible and blah blah blah.
The books also note that it is common for Konoha to let gifted ninja graduate early during wartime, Kakashi being the youngest ever.
Do with all that what you will. ~SnapperTo 04:48, January 8, 2017 (UTC)

Thanks Snapper2, that helps a LOT as a few is commonly 2-3 or so, and being as 6 is the earliest Obito could have graduated and that Itachi was 4 at the time.. that means Shisui is only 2-3 or so years older than Itachi. QuakingStar (talk) 17:29, January 8, 2017 (UTC)
