Where is it stated, that clone used by Deidara in this technique is a Shadow clone and not a Clay clone--Erik1310 (talk) 19:34, April 2, 2010 (UTC)

Name[]

Wouldn't the direct translation be "Self Exploding Clone"? Where did the "suicide" part come from (it's not "jisatsu" (自殺)). Just like Liger Bomb, where it's "Lightning Self Bomb". Yatanogarasu 08:30, January 14, 2011 (UTC)

自爆 is apparently Japanese for "suicide bomber", or something to that effect. ~SnapperTo 08:39, January 14, 2011 (UTC)

How?[]

Can someone explain to me how Deidara used this technique when he had already lost both arms. Don't you need some kind of hand sign to make any kind of clone.—This unsigned comment was made by 66.253.210.70 (talkcontribs) .

Just accept it >.>--Cerez365Hyūga Symbol 12:22, November 3, 2011 (UTC)
Not all techniques require hand seals, they just make it easier. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 20:12, November 3, 2011 (UTC)

Type of Clone[]

why is it considered a shadow clone? Since it's Deidara's, and it explodes wouldn't this be a clay clone?--RexGodwin (talk) 07:38, May 18, 2013 (UTC)

The databook said shadow clone. Jacce | Talk | Contributions 09:20, May 18, 2013 (UTC)
Deidara's creations explode because he infuses them with his kekkei genkai, not because they're clay.--Cerez365Hyūga Symbol(talk) 13:24, May 18, 2013 (UTC)
This clone isn't clay at all ._. you likely confuse it with another clone technique of his; Clay Clone--Elveonora (talk) 13:39, May 18, 2013 (UTC)

Itachi?[]

Am I misremembering, didn't Itachi use a technique like this in his first appearance? --90.205.218.224 (talk) 20:24, May 18, 2013 (UTC)

He used this technique.--Yomiko-chan (talk) 20:31, May 18, 2013 (UTC)
