Making them genin[]
I'll post this here instead of each individual page. While the databooks are blank on the subject, I'd say the manga/anime itself indicates they're genin clearly enough to give them a rank in their info boxes, and proposing altering them to include this info. - The databooks aren't blank on the subject. Dosu, Zaku, and Kin are given —s instead of ranks. Something that, beyond any doubt, indicates they do not hold an official rank. Orochimaru's "diguise"[]
i know anime isn't supposed to be too realistic, but come on! how could Anko, Hiruzen or Kakashi not notice the "Sound Jonin's" snake eyes!? they're a pretty dead giveaway to his identity..--68.228.222.103 (talk) 20:19, October 3, 2010 (UTC)
- Orochimaru probably isn't the only one in the world with snake-like eyes.
- Artistic licence. The eyes and several other Orochimaru-like features give the readers something to recognise Orochimaru by. It is assume these features are simply less distinctive in-universe.
