The trivia point is wrong, Obito has already awakened his Mangekyo Sharingan powers and even though it's considered an MS power, he has been able to use the Kamui using his normal Sharingan all the time. I would remove it myself but the Wikia is having problems. --Speysider Talk Page | My Image Uploads | Tabber Code | Channel 18:54, January 30, 2014 (UTC)

That is what I was thinking. I could have sworn at least once we saw Tobi warp away with just his Sharingan shown, if at the very least the fight with Konan.--TheUltimate3 Allied Shinobi Forces Symbol (talk) 19:24, January 30, 2014 (UTC)
In all the depictions I've seen of the anime of Obito teleporting away, it has always been with the Sharingan. The MS was never depicted in his teleporting. I don't know why the trivia point was added as it's wrong, but I won't remove it until consensus is reached. Several other Sharingan users have been shown to use certain techniques without needing to activate their MS, the most obvious examples being Itachi and Madara. --Speysider Talk Page | My Image Uploads | Tabber Code | Channel 19:34, January 30, 2014 (UTC)

When Obito used Kamui in his fight with Konan, in the manga his eye was not shown at all, meanwhile in the anime, the Sharingan was clearly there, so it's an anime exclusive thing. JoseAlejandroSalerno (talk) 21:13, January 31, 2014 (UTC)

^ This. Obito's eyes never shown in the manga, it was an anime-exclusive shot and is in no way canon. ~ Ten Tailed Fox Yamagakure Symbol 21:45, January 31, 2014 (UTC)
