Name meaning[]

Doesn't Tomoe mean curse?—This unsigned comment was made by 67.5.133.89 (talkcontribs) .

No, and as far as I know, it never has. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 19:57, February 4, 2012 (UTC)

I thought the page on the whip wielded by the Ginkaku bro caused said so. --184.100.179.69 (talk) 23:14, February 19, 2012 (UTC)

That was a sword, and what he said to use it was "noroe", not "tomoe". Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 23:32, February 19, 2012 (UTC)

Magatama[]

If we're including examples of magatama, should the Sage's coat in Chapter 572 be mentioned? Also, should the magatama patterns on the Sage and Naruto be mentioned? --GoDai (talk) 00:20, February 2, 2012 (UTC)

Yep so done~ --Cerez365 00:30, February 2, 2012 (UTC)
On the Sage's page, both in Appearance and Trivia, it is mentioned that he has a necklace with six magatama. Yet here, it says that he has "tomoe-like markings around the collar of his cloak". Why is there a discrepancy? --Junky (talk) 05:14, January 8, 2013 (UTC)
Tomoe is the name of a magatama's shape. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 11:24, January 8, 2013 (UTC)
Sorry for not being clear; I knew what tomoe meant. I was talking about the fact that in one place it's a necklace and in the other it's markings on his collar. --Junky (talk) 13:09, January 8, 2013 (UTC)
