Parent techniques[]

So, I think it's safe to say that this is a combination of Drilling Air Bullet and one of Gaara's sand techniques. However, which sand technique should be listed? When Gaara forms the sand spheres, they seem Sand Hail-sized, but when we see the holes they made in Madara, they look Sand Drizzle-sized. Drizzle I think. Hail is too big.--Cerez365Hyūga Symbol(talk) 15:43, December 11, 2013 (UTC)

I think it was Sand Hail sized at first then in the next panel it shows them being comressed and shrinking. So I think it should be Sand Bullet, the one he does in his Miniature Shukaku form. Also, i think it should be note worthy to make a technique page for the manipulation he does with the sand in Madara's blood. Its really a note worthy feat and kinda new to Gaara.--Kyle Ethan (talk) 18:08, December 11, 2013 (UTC)

It does look like the sand bullet, considering that they shrunk in size, i think it's too small to be hail and to big to be drizzle. Neji of the gentle fist (talk) 22:53, December 11, 2013 (UTC)

Uh, the stuff that got into Madara was definitely drizzle sized. And you're also failing to account for quantity. Bullet was a single projectile. Drizzle had several, more in line with this technique. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 23:21, December 11, 2013 (UTC)

Good point. Neji of the gentle fist (talk) 23:32, December 11, 2013 (UTC)

Images[]

I know the current one is the direct adaption of the manga image we used in the past. However, there's no sand to be seen. I would like to use this image instead, as both the Wind Release part and the sand can be seen there. On top of that, I would like to use this image of the sand in Madara's bloodstream as it's a crucial aspect of the technique. Your opinions? Norleon (talk) 13:31, December 21, 2014 (UTC)

No disagreement.--Elve [Mod] Talk Page|Contribs 12:48, December 23, 2014 (UTC)

Renaming?[]

As much as I like the alliteration, 散弾 does specifically translate to "buckshot", which kinda is a more specific term to what this jutsu does, not to mention closer to the Viz translation, which uses "salvo". Does anyone oppose moving this to "Wind Release: Sand Buckshot"? Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 17:35, December 19, 2015 (UTC)

I don't mind.--JouXIII (talk) 17:37, December 19, 2015 (UTC)
