Team 40 is a shinobi team from Konohagakure, consisting of Enko Onikuma, Dōshu Goetsu and Tsuru Itoi, as well as an unknown team leader. The team participated in the Chūnin Exams, but failed the first task, resulting in their elimination. After their original Jonin leader was incapacitated due to Enko's uncontrolled technique, the team leader was replaced Ibiki Morino.
