A Ten-Tails.

The Ten-Tails (十尾, Jūbi) are the seeds used by the Ōtsutsuki clan that grow into God Trees, after consuming a live clan member.[1] The Ōtsutsuki uses the tree to drain all the chakra from planets to create chakra fruits for them to use. The process is that the Ōtsutsuki has the Ten-Tails core its way into the victim planet's centre, where it would then spread its roots throughout the entire world to reach every corner, sparing no one from its harvest. This results in all life on the planet dying as well as the planet itself. In order to trigger the process for the beast to bloom into a God Tree, it must be fed a live Ōtsutsuki, who would have prepared a vessel beforehand via the Kāma to resurrect themselves after. The quality of the fruit that would be produced is determined by the health of the Ōtsutsuki being offered as a tribute. Because of the nature of which the Ōtsutsuki uses these Ten-Tails, Amado has referred to the clan as parasites.

Trivia

  • Unlike others, the Ten-Tails utilised by Kaguya Ōtsutsuki did not completely drain the planet dry even after producing a chakra fruit for Kaguya to consume. Why this occurred instead remains unknown, but it is possible that Kaguya had only fed the lower half of Isshiki to the Ten-Tails for a slower and/or incomplete development.
