Synopsis
Naruto, though Kakashi hadn't officially started the test, began attacking. He had used his shadow clones to catch Kakashi who had his Sharingan activated off-guard. Jiraiya, Tsunade, Shizune who were shown watching the bell test, as well as Kakashi, had seen Naruto's improvement with its timing. Naruto's attempt to catch Kakashi off-guard failed and Kakashi officially started the test.
Sasori and Deidara easily entered Sunagakure after Yūra, Sasori's spy killed the guards on the entrance. Creating a large clay bird as transportation, Deidara proceeded to find the jinchūriki of Shukaku, Gaara.
Kakashi began to attack using taijutsu, and he (as well as Jiraiya, Tsunade and Shizune) noted Naruto and Sakura's improvement as team. Deidara managed to incapacitate the scouts who watched the skies above Sunagakure with his explosive clays. Meanwhile, Naruto and Sakura were able to release themselves from genjutsu. Kakashi realised that his old tricks didn't work anymore. Back to Sunagakure, Gaara finally faced Deidara, who thought that his infiltration was successful.
