"The Secret of the Impure World Reincarnation" (穢土転生の秘密, Edo Tensei no Himitsu) is episode 264 of the Naruto: Shippūden anime.

The Secret of the Reanimation Jutsu (穢土転生の秘密, Edo Tensei no Himitsu) is episode 264 of the Naruto: Shippūden anime.

Summary

Naruto continues his tailed beast training with B. As he attempts to transform into the Nine-Tails he fails, assuming a chibi-version of the beast. With this the Eight-Tails explains the mechanism behind transforming into a tailed beast and the cooperation required from both parties to do so. B tells Naruto that this might pose a problem as he wouldn't be able to use the Tailed Beast Ball. Moving on with the training nonetheless, B decides to build on the techniques Naruto could perform. Showing them his Rasengan in his Nine-Tails Chakra Mode, B is shocked to see that Naruto's technique was an application of the Tailed Beast Ball. Telling Naruto this, B enquires who taught him that technique and upon hearing that it was created by the Fourth Hokage: Minato Namikaze, B wonders whether this was fate.

At Mountains' Graveyard, Tobi demands that Kabuto kills Anko Mitarashi. However, Kabuto refuses, explaining that he needs to drain her of Orochimaru's chakra that resides within in her so he can increase the binding power on the Summoning: Impure World Reincarnation. Wary of Kabuto's loyalties, Madara orders him to demonstrates the Summoning: Impure World Reincarnation and all of its secrets, including on how to stop it. Using Fū and Torune as sacrifices, Tobi then kills Torune and tells Kabuto to use Fu to ressurect and controll Torune. Kabuto complies and elaborate on the technique before taking off to a isolated area. Zetsu appears before Madara and confirms that he planted the White Zetsu's spores on Kabuto and then sets out to do another task for Madara.

Meanwhile at the Allied Shinobi Forces' Headquarters, Ao notes that the intel sent to them by Muta allowed them to locate the enemy forces travelling underground. After Inoichi has his division inform the Second Division of the orders from Headquarters. Kiba, Akamaru, Hana and one of the Three Haimaru Brothers from the Fifth Division are sent to support the Second Division. Kitsuchi alongside Kurotsuchi then uncover the enemy forces while the rest of the division lie in wait to attack.
