"The Training Begins!!" is chapter 2 of the Boruto manga.

Summary

Sasuke will consider taking Boruto as a disciple if he can perform the Rasengan. Boruto leaves, sure he'll master it no time. Sasuke recalls Naruto's words about Boruto. Sasuke recalls telling Naruto about two people he found when looking for Kaguya's scroll, and assuming they're also Ōtsutsuki clan members. Boruto wakes up Konohamaru to get him to teach Boruto the Rasengan. Boruto grows impatient with the training Konohamaru puts him through. Sarada watches Boruto training until he manages to create a small Rasengan. Boruto shows Sasuke his Rasengan, who points out its small size. Frustrated, Boruto throws his Rasengan and leaves. Sarada arrives and tells Sasuke he's being too strict, and that Boruto's commitment to learning the Rasengan is unusual. Sasuke reveals he does intent to take on Boruto as a disciple, noticing the Rasengan's damage on a tree. Boruto runs into Katasuke, and tells him about his situation. Katasuke provides Boruto with a Kote. On the street, Boruto notices how dirty his clothes are from the training, and goes meet Sasuke again. He shows Sasuke a regular size Rasengan. Sasuke notices the Kote, but doesn't say anything about it. Boruto claims to be different from Naruto, and Sasuke agrees knowingly. Sasuke takes on Boruto as a disciple. He asks Sasuke about Naruto's weaknesses. Boruto, Sarada, and Mitsuki meet up, intending to take the Chūnin Exams. Momoshiki and Kinshiki defeat Killer B, even turning his Tailed Beast Ball against him, and take Gyūki's chakra. The two turn their attention to the next target of interest, detecting Kurama's chakra not far away.
