"Their Decision" (二人の覚悟, Futari no kakugo) is episode 167 of the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations anime.
Synopsis
Konohomaru Sarutobi and Mugino rushes Mitsuki to Orochimaru after he used his Sage Mode Transformation to save Boruto Uzumaki's and Sarada Uchiha's lives. Konohamaru and Mugino later rushes Boruto and Sarada to Yubina where she was able to give Boruto and Sarada emergency first aid before rushing them to the Konoha Hospital to get treated. Sakura Haruno and Shizune work to treat both Boruto and Sarada who are in critical conditions. Konohamaru apologizes to Naruto Uzumaki about the failed mission. Naruto reassures Hinata and Himawari that Boruto will make a full recovery. Konohamaru shares information that Victor and Deepa are affiliated with Kara and the uses of the Hashirama cell is unknown with Shikamaru Nara, Sasuke Uchiha, Sai Yamanaka, and Naruto. Victor makes use of the stolen Hashirama cell.
Orochimaru and Log treats Mitsuki and finds out that Mitsuki's regeneration and organs are failing because he used his Sage Mode. Orochimaru and Log works together to quickly treat Mitsuki's condition. Sarada and Boruto talk together in a room while waiting for their physical checkup. They express how upset that they had failed the mission and almost lost Mitsuki. Boruto and Sarada lamented that their signature abilities had no effect on Deepa. Team 5 and Team 15 minus Tsubaki visits Boruto and Sarada respectively to comfort them. Boruto and Sarada are shown unusually calm and cheerful but Iwabee senses something is wrong. Team 5, Wasabi, and Namida rushes back to Boruto's and Sarada's room but they are not in their beds.
It is later revealed that Konohomaru and Mugino are going on an observation mission in the Land of Valleys to spy on Victor and his company. Sarada and Boruto catches them up and wishes Konohomaru and Mugino good luck while they stay at the village to train themselves to get stronger. Sarada later trains with her father in improving her Sharingan. Boruto later tracks Kakashi Hatake on Sasuke's suggestion and after finding out his father is too busy with the Kara and Otsutsuki business to improve his Rasengan.
