Did you any notice something from the characters infoboxes such as birthdates or clans? some icons on each of them become very blur just now.

MediaWiki update probably caused this. Give it a bit of time, should be back to normal eventually.

MediaWiki updates don't break image scalers in any way that would affect content, they never have. The only possible reason I can see is Wikia's image server glitched up scaling, which will probs not be fixed any time soon ;D

guess this will take a while whether or not and have to deal with it for now.
@Sajuuk, does the image server scaling affect the way the infoboxes look on the mobile site looks too? Because those look off as well, bit to mention the broken images.
I have no idea, sorry. :(
It should also be noted that only the February icon shows fine....
EDIT: NVM, Kabuto's doesn't.
