    • If we're taking into account ova feats, the Deva Path alone was able subdue Orochimaru, enough that he wasn't capable of stealing his Rinnegan.

We already know Jiraiya can't win against the Paths without knowing the secret behind the technique.

And Tsunade's strength and healing abilities are useless against Konan, seeing as punches wouldn't effect her, and Konan can envelop and suffocate her.

    • Orochimaru was unable to use most of his techniques during part 2 so he'd be almost useless in the fight.

Konan and Nagato would easily win since they dont have to hold back to avoid collateral damage, Tsunade could probably manage to survive and escape but Jiraiya would die along with Orochimaru, Orochimaru's healing isn't good enough to keep him alive and Jiraiya would probably get killed off as the biggest threat.

      Subdue, yes.

Though — how accountable can that encounter be? In terms of Orochimaru's performance; hadn't he commented on the amount of mediocre effort used against Sasori when weighing the odds?

I wouldn't rule that as indefinite — simply because of the additional Sannin's in play, aswell as every summon available.

Possibly — although, I don't think Tsunade would necessarily focus all her attention on Konan? Her abilities obviously nullify Tsunade's form of attack; there'd be careful measures taking down Konan, considering her tactics revolve around mass.

Personally, I think the Sannin's are being disregarded too easily. I'm still a little wary on the events that could follow. However, I'm leaning a little in favour towards the Sannin. Their position of prowess grants them a healthy amount of tactics needed to gather information, formulate a plan and follow through with an attack that'll apply appropriate openings for collateral damage.

These three are highly skilled shinobi.

    • shouldn't orochimaaru have kabuto to use the summoning or any such jutsu?

    • The Sannin take this. Jiraiya could defeat three paths with sage mode. Oro and Tsunade are near impossible to keep down. I'm just not seeing a win for Nagato, unless he goes for Chibaku Tensei. Knowing him, he won't. Konan as backup doesn't add much, most of her feats are prep heavy and specific to a certain style of battle.
