    • You should read the article Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, and the manga chapters themselves. Actually, we don't know much either, all we got from the new manga events are Konoha in ruin, Boruto facing Kawaki and a brief hint on Naruto's death. That's all. We can only guess what really happened until the new manga chapters will reveal it.

    • I Believe that Hinata dies and gives Boruto his Byakugan.

    • From the looks of it, Naruto is said to of died. We are not to sure yet as the series has only just began however, Kawaki (the new antagonist) states that he'll "send you where I sent the Seventh Hokage, Boruto." which has lead fan to believe that Naruto may have been killed, although he could be in another dimension. Also, Hinata will not give Boruto her Byakugan as Boruto seems to have some kind of Byakugan at the beginning of the anime when he is younger. That isn't to say Hinata wont die though ;n;

    • Better not. I hate it when series make a continuation of another series then kill off old characters just because.

    • I think that they will show the actually fight in part 2 of boruto. Listen, do you know how there is Naruto and Naruto Shippuden. I believe it will be something related to that in some case. Off the bat there Is a lot of people that already HATES boruto, so hinting of narutos death will make it more hated BUUUTTTTT. Since everyone loves Naruto way to much we will have to keep on watching Boruto until they actually show the fight and confirm it. BBButtt if they show the fight in Boruto part 1 and Naruto does die. No one will watch the show. Buuut since everyone loves Naruto and the author knows this, and they have to get view ratings and stuff like that. They will make boruto drag on until boruto part 2(boruto shippuden) to force people to watch the show. Do you guys get it???

      i have to disagree on that. the first chapter of manga says that this is the story of boruto, not naruto uzumaki. i think it's a hint from the mangaka that the story will not be same nor the power boruto will have. there are other hints also that boruto will have different power. like- 1. boruto already has a dojutsu. whether this is a kekkei genkai or not, is not confirmed yet. but i believe this is a kekkei genkai as it is similar to tenseigan. tenseigan can be achieved by combining hyuga's byakugan and hamura otsutsuki. boruto's jogan might be a combination of bykugan and hagoromo otsutsuki's chakra. 2. boruto is a genius. naruto needed a large reserve of chakra(nine-tails is essentially a mass of chakra) because he was not good at ninjutsu. so all his attacks are based on pure chakra instead of nature transformation. but boruto is different. he can already do wind, lightning and water nature tranformation jutsus by the time he is a genin. this is a jonin level capacity. so he doesn't need a large reserve of chakra. 3. boruto is susuke's counterpart. he has a ultimate dojutsu on one eye, a seal given by the enemy to enhance power like sasuke. he is being taught by sasuke. also in his fight against kawaki we can see that his fighting style(with a sword) may resemble sasuke. 4. the biggest hint may be from momoshiki otsutsuki. in the manga he mentioned that naruto has vast amount of chakra but no way to pass it to next generation. because of these reason i think boruto will not have nine-tails in him.

      None of that really explains why Naruto wouldn't pass on Kurama, but I wanna address the assumption that Naruto wasn't good at jutsu, which is just plain wrong.

      He wasn't good at bunshin. So far, it's the only one we ever saw him really fail at, after which he mastered an S-rank jutsu. From that point on he never expressed any particular failings except for genjutsu which is specialized anyways. He mastered Rasengan in three days, Rasen Shuriken in about a week, in about the same time revealed himself to be a senjutsu prodigy, and went on to do what no other Konoha jinchuriki had ever done: befriend the biju. He's always been able to keep up with Sasuke in taijutsu and excels at unconventional strategy--with the exception of one technique and being compared to a prodigy (Sasuke), he's never been 'bad at jutsu.'

      But anyway, Naruto wouldn't pass on Kurama for any reason to do with Boruto powers or chakra reserves or any reason like that, he'd do it simply because he's not getting any younger. We know jinchuriki age about the same as anyone else in the series, and eventually a new jinchuriki would have to be chosen.
