Image policy

Please read over the Image policy, it requires you to add a fair use rationale, and it explains how. SimAnt 18:42, November 5, 2010 (UTC)

Ya sure but did I messed up something? I licensed it properly, provided a summary, snapped it directly from the anime and do not violate the rules. Can you guide me if I did something wrong please? I've been on a lot of wikis but new on this one. Adyniz (talk) 18:46, November 5, 2010 (UTC)
Sure, glad to. First off:
  1. We tag images with fair-use rationale, as well as licensing.
Here is the template that you need to put in the summary box when you upload an image.
{{Image tags}}
{{Characters in image|}}
{{Fair use rationale
| Description = Single frame snapshot of [[]].
| Source            = [[Naruto Series|Naruto]] Episode
| Portion = Single frame from the [[Naruto Series|Naruto]] Anime series.
| Purpose = For the illustration of the character [[]].
| Resolution        = Low/High
| Replaceability = Only by a similar snapshot with the same license status.

  1. Because that fair-use rationale and lisencing, images should not be re-uploaded on top of each other unless they are simply better quality of the same scene. SimAnt 18:54, November 5, 2010 (UTC)
Ok, thanks. Let me try it, I hope I won't mess it up this time. Adyniz (talk) 19:00, November 5, 2010 (UTC)

Oh and by the way, the history link is now located on the floating "my tools" bar at the bottom right of the page. The keyboard shortcut Alt-h should work for most browsers. SimAnt 19:05, November 5, 2010 (UTC)

Lol, yeah I figured it out later when I followed the page. Thanks again Adyniz (talk) 19:07, November 5, 2010 (UTC)

Please to upload that as a separate file and not on top of another one it breaks the image policy here.--Cerez365Hyūga Symbol 12:01, February 15, 2012 (UTC)

My apologies, thank you for the heads up. Adyniz (talk) 12:05, February 15, 2012 (UTC)
