Re: Storm 4 Q&A

There have been very few sources for Storm 4 combo names. There are a few, one of them is Kurama Arm Attack, but you'd have to check how it is in the game, and then compare to what he did in the game. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 22:28, April 30, 2016 (UTC)

Ackchyually, the opening scene is the current time and the young Boruto stuff is a flashback. • Seelentau 愛 18:22, May 4, 2016 (UTC)

Well, technically, we should display Boruto's looks from the intro and not from the flashback... • Seelentau 愛 20:14, May 4, 2016 (UTC)

Re: TCG?

It's the least reliable official source, but it's an official source, yes. It goes like this: Manga > databook > canon movie > anime > anime filler, movies & video games > TCG. Basically, I would really only use TCG names if there's nothing else available but the technique is distinctive enough to warrant its own article. I did that for Coercion Sharingan, for example. • Seelentau 愛 16:14, May 6, 2016 (UTC)

Since the databooks give him no rank, that information is obviously wrong.
The question is, where do we stop? We have no set rules as to when a technique warrants its own article and when not. Technically, all of Sai's techniques could simply link to the Choju Giga article. We give them each their own article so that the "mother" article isn't overflowing with information, to make the information more accessible and attractive to the visitors. If, however, a new article only consists of one sentence and no additional information like rank or Kanji or so, there's no need for it.
So basically, the more unique information there is, the more viable is a unique article. • Seelentau 愛 16:28, May 6, 2016 (UTC)
Technically, there are no real rules as to when a technique gets its own article and when it doesn't, as I said. And I'm really not sure a TCG name is enough to warrant an article... but you'll be met with heavy opposition if you merge them^^ • Seelentau 愛 21:11, May 6, 2016 (UTC)
Yes, that would be a valid argument. But nevertheless, we really need a consensus for when an article is viable and when it's better left in its mother article. • Seelentau 愛 21:16, May 6, 2016 (UTC)

Forum Warning #1

Icon-Warning-Yellow BerserkerPhantom, this is a warning regarding your violation of the forum policy and/or behaviour on our community forums. Please ensure you have read our policy before continuing to contribute to the forums.
Reason: No reason was specified
Message to User: Do not troll or flame other users. If your message is intended to instigate a reaction from the opposing user or is clearly intended to insult someone else, it will be removed and may result in an immediate revocation of your right to post in the forums or edit the wiki.
If you are unsure about why you are receiving this notice, or have some other query, feel free to leave a reply on my talkpage.
Many thanks for your co-operation. --Sarutobii2 (talk) 13:59, May 8, 2016 (UTC)

BerserkerPhantom, personal attacks will not be tolerated. That warning would have come directly from me if Sarutobii2 hadn't already done it. Please re-read the forum and talkpage policies and refrain from personally insulting other users within discussions.

  • Personal attacks are explicitly prohibited in the forum policy: "Do not troll or flame other users. If your message is intended to instigate a reaction from the opposing user or is clearly intended to insult someone else, it will be removed and may result in an immediate revocation of your right to post in the forums or edit the wiki."
  • We even have a note on moderators: "Respect the decisions of forum moderators and sysops. Responding with sarcasm or ridicule if they tell you to not do something may lead to you receiving warnings or having your ability to use the forums or wiki revoked. | If you have a problem with a forum moderator or sysop's decision, politely discuss it with them and get other forum moderators and sysops involved if necessary."
  • Warnings given by moderators are **not** spam by any definition. Only real spam (bot spam, etc...) and overt harassment is allowed to be removed from talkpages. ~ Daniel Friesen (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire) (Local TalkAnimanga Talk) 14:25, May 8, 2016 (UTC)
User:Sarutobii2 has falsely accused me of doing so, tho. If you backtracked the thread and checked out the comment, you'd know. Telling someone that they weren't able to read the message even when it was repeated 5 times in the actual thread is not in any way rude behaviour or a violation of the policies.--BerserkerPhantom (talk) 14:27, May 8, 2016 (UTC)
"#ReadingIsHardForSaru" is a personal attack. You are not calling out an issue with communication, you are directly insinuating that another person on the wiki has reading difficulties, using that as an insult rather than trying to assist communication with them, and formatting it as a hashtag to further increase its weight as an insult. ~ Daniel Friesen (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire) (Local TalkAnimanga Talk) 14:34, May 8, 2016 (UTC)
That is completely wrong and biased. I pointed out that he didn't bother reading the messages and kept calling me a liar, despite me pointing out exactly what needed to be pointed out ~5 times, and he chose to ignore it and blatantly state what was not the case, hence "it's clearly difficult for him to read the messages accordingly". Hashtags don't work on the wiki regardless.--BerserkerPhantom (talk) 14:38, May 8, 2016 (UTC)
He did not personally call you a "liar". He stated an opinion that you were "lying" in direct combination with references to what he believed to be falsehoods. You elevated this to a direct personal attack by tacking on an insult in a place it was completely unnecessary. The fact that this wiki has no hashtag functionality is not an excuse; you formatted in the way that is culturally known as a hashtag, in a place where it doesn't even have a functional purpose as one. This separates it from the actual sentence of conversation and makes the insult one tacked on at the end; where if you had been civil, you could have trivially chosen to omit. ~ Daniel Friesen (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire) (Local TalkAnimanga Talk) 14:54, May 8, 2016 (UTC)
In no shape of form was that an opinion, and if it was - then this is even more of an opinion that his is(?). He repeated it twice as well, even after I cleared it up the first time, hence - clearly trying to force an argument. And, as I've said already, it's not a personal attack, it's a jab at the point that he completely ignored comments that prove his accusations as completely false and absent minded, per "it's clearly difficult for him to read the messages accordingly"... If anything, he showed complete disrespect towards a fellow user by ignoring words and blatantly complaining and accusing about stuff he should've not complained or accused about in the first place. As pointed out by a different user as a "round-in-circles discussion" - that's because Sarutobii2 refused to read the responses to questions he initiated, leading the thread completely nowhere and completely off-topic.--BerserkerPhantom (talk) 14:59, May 8, 2016 (UTC)
Jabbing at another person that way is a personal attack. What you personally consider it as is irrelevant, it is a personal attack. And even if you had been personally attacked it does not permit you to respond with a personal attack; incivility is dealt with by contacting a mod or sysop, not by responding with incivility.
This point is closed, politely refrain from further personal attacks in the forums or you will not be permitted use of the wiki. ~ Daniel Friesen (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire) (Local TalkAnimanga Talk) 15:13, May 8, 2016 (UTC)

Takigakure novel

I have just been thinking about it recently since there seems to be no end to the @Paladin sock-puppets. Were you ever able to get your hands on that novel? If so, is there any merit held within @Paladins words? Munchvtec (talk) 06:51, June 27, 2016 (UTC)

Whichever is easier for you. If you really are willing to screencap the entire thing then that'd be awesome. I wouldn't post it here though. A link to wherever you put it is fine. Or a link in a thread or what not :/ Munchvtec (talk) 12:47, June 27, 2016 (UTC)

Stop jumping at any chance to revert my edits. While you're at it, stop inserting false claims of an issue in summaries & using rational that for some reason applies to me but not yourself. I don't really remember the sexy jutsu being referenced in the Boruto Movie's novel. But if Konohamaru did mention it, it was probably him using it.

The novel has been out for a few years so I think someone would of noticed it by now anyway. But regardless, how exactly do we remove it from the jutsu selection @ Boruto's profile? GodlyHades (talk) 10:52, April 26, 2017 (UTC)

Byakugan edits

Hello. Please understand that I am not interested in an editing war. Keep in mind that there are many anime-only abilities listed on the actual abilities section such as infra-red, mind-reading, and so on. I agree that determining nature affinity is a non-canon movie effect and will concede that should remain in the trivia section, but determining chakra development in general is a canon anime ability.--Steveo920 (talk) 12:48, June 8, 2017 (UTC)

Re: Listin' Ougis

As much as I'd like adding information about every named video game jutsu and combo I can find and translate, I just don't quite see it going forward. There was a time I tried putting forward an idea for separate lists for game stuff, though in a per character basis, and the interest even in the discussion was minuscule. Re: Chakra Flow

It seemed I was confusing chakra flow with chakra control, but I was not even the one who put that in the first place, so for you to try and say I'm making up things as I'm going along is quite unnecessary. --Rai 水 (talk) 08:53, July 31, 2017 (UTC)

I just sat here and said I confused the two, but your comment was unnecessary because I'm not just making things up as I go along so yes you are being an asshole, and if that's the route you want to go, then let me know cuz I have no problem being one too. --Rai 水 (talk) 08:58, July 31, 2017 (UTC)
Yes but when have you've known me to make stuff up as I go along? If anything you could have said inserting false information or misconstruing things. But, I owned up to it and stopped and even told you that I made a mistake but you carried on to be an asshole about it as if I did something to you personally. You say you've reverted things in the past and made a mistake but tries to come for me. I just don't get it. --Rai 水 (talk) 09:41, July 31, 2017 (UTC)
I'm not mad that you corrected me, it was you trying to act as if I'm some kind of troll or something. It was your poor choice of words. I don't need to think anything through. You know where I stand, and as long as you can respect me, we are good. --Rai 水 (talk) 09:51, July 31, 2017 (UTC)

RE: chem

I'm not denying it's an OVA. I pointed out that The Day Naruto Became Hokage (OVA) is part of the Naruto series, not Boruto OVA #1. --Sarutobii2 (talk) 02:53, August 10, 2017 (UTC)

The OVA was released with Naruto merchandise and came out before the Boruto anime was announced, making it in no way a Boruto OVA. --Sarutobii2 (talk) 10:25, August 10, 2017 (UTC)
The wiki doesn't work like that. If it did, Chapter 700 would be classified as a Boruto chapter. --Sarutobii2 (talk) 10:38, August 10, 2017 (UTC)
It's time like this that i remember the last words Cloudtheavenger said to you - "It's just arguing back and forth. The nobody else will like you should be my line. You're the only person I've ever had a heat with here. You on the other hand, I count at least three, including myself and TTF. Get over yourself buddy. Have a nice day. I also know you like to have the last word, so go for it, I won't reply to it." --Sarutobii2 (talk) 11:08, August 10, 2017 (UTC)

Well excuse me for trying to prevent a revert war and trying to nicely correct your misconception. What a devil am I...--BerserkerPhantom (talk) 11:28, August 10, 2017 (UTC)

Just like how other wikis operate and previously how Snapper ran the place, discussions aren't required when it's clear as day an image or article isn't needed. --Sarutobii2 (talk) 22:17, August 18, 2017 (UTC)

Re: Flying Swallow

I never got a chance to apologize for the trouble I caused you back when we were arguing over the Eight Gates thing, so I wanted to let you know I'm sorry. I should've been paying attention to previous threads made by other people before making unwarranted edits and then getting angry over something so stupid. I actually went through the same thing today, and that's actually what reminded me of that whole ordeal. So I just wanted to make amends with you. ExyleCage (talk) 03:10, October 6, 2017 (UTC)

Hand Signs

Look, I am not trying to start an edit war or question your own views, but clearly if handsigns are used for a technique, they can used by the person independently of any tools.--Steveo920 (talk) 13:12, October 25, 2017 (UTC)

Yes, but the Sharingan cannot copy techniques without being physically built for it. Ergo, Sarada couldn't copy the technique if it was a Kiba-exclusive technique.--Steveo920 (talk) 13:16, October 25, 2017 (UTC)
Kakashi said it himself.--Steveo920 (talk) 13:19, October 25, 2017 (UTC)
In Raiga's final technique to bury himself, he performed his Lightning Burial without hand signs.--Steveo920 (talk) 13:23, October 25, 2017 (UTC)
Flying Revolving Sword, and Fang Passing Fang are physical skills that halve nothing to do with kekkei genkais or body altering like the Aburama clan's hive body. Kakashi showed himself strong enough to wield Zabuza's blade in prolonged battle. Fang Passing Fang is a hiden technique but not necessarily physical attribute exclusive to the Inuzuka Clan.--Steveo920 (talk) 13:33, October 25, 2017 (UTC)

"Shippu Ranbu" game jutsu

Hello! ^-^ Yesterday, you created 2 jutsu pages from the Naruto Shippu Ranbu game. In the tweet right below the one for Izuna's jutsu there is another vid for a jutsu Madara uses. I was wondering if you planned on making a page for that one as well? I believe the kanji is something like うちは火炎凪. I thought about making the page, but I don't know how >,<. Anyways, thanks for your time! ^-^--GunmetalDragon (talk) 22:46, December 3, 2017 (UTC)

I informed Omni about the edit and asked him to help me understand because it could be my misinterpretation of the canon policy. So no, this is me. My brother isn't nowhere around my laptop. If I made I mistake, then it's on me. I'm not perfect even through the many years I've been here. I am not above accepting my fault if it the case and I'm quite sure you should know that. Prime examples being on the forums when I am reminded of certain things that I just forgot about and change my opinion.

However, what I will not accept is blatant disrespect. You have been acting very negative to me for a while now. I don't know what for. You were cool as @Omojuze, but it seemed after that, you changed, and not in a good way for me. I really try to not respond negatively back. It's not so much cussing or name calling, but your very sassy ass attitude towards someone you're supposedly cool with. So whatever problem you have with me, I suggest you get over it or just don't reply to ever again. --Rai 水 (talk) 21:26, April 9, 2018 (UTC)

I don't think it's written in the canon policy, it's just something that's a precedent; Don't list movie stuff in the boxes. The canon movies kind of muddied the notion, but we still aren't listing the non-canon movies. I mean, if Omni's cool with us changing this then I have no objections, it's just that I'd like us to be consistent in terms of when we do apply this regulation and when we don't.

... :D Not sure if serious. I'm not negative, and you're complaining all the time... Either misinterpreting words, putting words in other peoples' mouths, shutting people down just because you don't want to hear their opinions or simply don't care (like you're doing right now), being (unintentionally?) rude to new users, or doing whatever the heck you want because the, for the lack of a better word, security is laxer because we don't have nearly as many dedicated users as we used to. I don't know if you're doing that intentionally, or this is coming across to me as such, and I probably should be more careful about being offensive to you, so I'm sorry if I somehow offended you in any way. :D

And I was a HUGE asshole. :D Still kinda am, but at least I'm not jumping to every opportunity to complain about Saru, for example, or jab at him for every mistake he makes (off-naruto wiki reasons), and, like, I was a huge annoyance to someone like Seele, which I do regret a lot (bad influence, I'm sure you know who I'm talking about). I mean, I'm not sassy, at least I'm not trying to be.
I really do think that you're trying to interpret too much from an online comment... EDIT: Oh, and you not fully reading a comment, either by ignoring it or jumping the gun to post a response, is VERY annoying...--BerserkerPhantom (talk) 21:41, April 9, 2018 (UTC)
If there is an issue I feel needs to be brought up, I do so. I never complained about the movie thing. I just brought up a situation that apparently needed to be addressed if not only I but another user is misunderstanding. I have never put words in anyone's mouth so stop lying. I don't shut people down. The only thing I have done was to tell someone that there is no use in use continuing debating if it won't get anywhere. But, that's acceptable. I have never made it seem like it always had to be my way. Like I have said, I have no problem readjusting my opinions or admitting I was wrong. The recent threads can assure you that. I wouldn't say I've comes across as the easiest guy to talk with, but I've never said anything that serious in a while. So with all do respect, you can keep that fake apology as you never really meant it. I don't know why you're so pressed with me. You may reply to this, but I will not acknowledge it or you from this point on. I don't need your negativity. Good day. --Rai 水 (talk) 22:59, April 9, 2018 (UTC)

Reverting multiple edits

A way to revert multiple edits is to go to the article history and compare the last good revision with the current one. The comparison page has edit links to both versions, so you just have to edit the old one, and save it on top of the current one. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 18:27, April 12, 2018 (UTC)

Episode 60 stuff

Couple questions. Regarding the Mitsuki jutsu you found subtitles, can you confirm the last kanji is indeed 手? The fact the English anime translation chose to use "assault" makes me want to double check, since the kanji "襲", pronounced "shū", is usually translated as assault. And about Iron Sand Wall, where exactly did you hear anyone say "satetsu no kabe"? When Mitsuki comments on the iron wall, he only uses the term "teppeki", like in Sealed Iron Wall. Subtitles do indicate Sarada saying Iron Sand wall, but the sound doesn't seem to match the kanji you added, and the thing she was describing seems to be the iron sand cloak Shinki wears. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 17:38, May 31, 2018 (UTC)

I didn't even remember the "Many" variant when I moved it. Whenever I translate a jutsu name, I try to change as little as possible. Since the translation still made sense without changing the word order, I moved. I think it flows better. Truth be told, I think that changing the "Many" variant would also result in a better sounding name, I'm just not sure if it would be good moving a well established translation. That's why I always try to get these things right while they're still fresh. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 18:32, May 31, 2018 (UTC)

Should these jutsu be added?

Kabuto, Black Zetsu, Obito and Madara have called him Uzumaki, and they have called him Senju. If there was really no difference than they would have just called him Uzumaki and left it at that. Clearly he is of both clans. FlatZone (talk) 17:24, June 10, 2018 (UTC)

I'm not. Nagato is called Senju, and Uzumaki on seperate occasions. No other Uzumaki character has been called a Senju, and also called an Uzumaki.. Nagato having that lineage would make him the perfect Rinnegan host as BZ and Madara called him.

FlatZone (talk) 17:30, June 10, 2018 (UTC)

Doing that now. I am getting the panels to post. FlatZone (talk) 17:34, June 10, 2018 (UTC)

That thread was never resolved it seems.

here's panel one. I'll get the others when FlatZone (talk) 17:44, June 10, 2018 (UTC)

I know there are traces of Senju in all Uzumaki, but then why say only Nagato can do this besides Madara? There was still Kushina, Karin and her mother, among many other Uzumaki still alive. He specifically mentioned Senju bloodline and Nagato being the ONLY person besides Madara who could use the Rinnegan, and it was proven true when Obito could only use ONE eye. I believe that like Tsunade and Nawaki Nagato is of Senju AND Uzumaki lineage. FlatZone (talk) 17:55, June 10, 2018 (UTC)

They were saying only Nagato could use the Rinnegan, being the perfect host.. if it was only because he was Uzumaki then why not using somebody else?? Why make it a point that he is of the Senju blood? Why can only he and Madara use both eyes? Why did Madara specifically target him and not another Uzumaki?? FlatZone (talk) 18:01, June 10, 2018 (UTC)

Nagato's mom had red hair and was clearly an Uzumaki, but his dad had black hair and black eyes. His Uzumaki blood clearly comes from her. But he is specifically mentioned to have Senju blood too. Clearly he is special, and the reason being is that he is a mix of Senju(most likely his father) and Uzumaki(his mother) it was a new custom for Senju and Uzumaki to marry, Mito came to Konoha to marry Hashirama. Hell Kushina was sent to Konoha to be a ninja there, and be the 9 tails host. It's very likely the Senju man met and married Nagato's mother. That would explain Nagato being so specail body and blood wise, only him being able to use bother Rinnegan besides Madara. I think this needs to be brought back to the surface and talked about again. Fire Affinity

Sorry, I'm braindead from studying all day so maybe my wording was off. What I meant is through practice due to the Fireball being their rite of passage, they develop a proficiency for Fire Release, regardless of the Uchiha's natural affinity. Now, if they have an affinity for another element, they will struggle to master the Fireball, but when they do, they will have developed proficiency for two elements: fire and whatever their natural affinity is.Cloudtheavenger (talk) 04:17, July 11, 2018 (UTC)

Sasuke's affinity is lightning and look at how his first attempt went. Natural affinity means you are better are utilizing that nature than the other 4. Or am I missing something?Cloudtheavenger (talk) 04:23, July 11, 2018 (UTC)
It was a minor edit so I trust your removing it was a good reason and frankly, I'm too braindead to debate. Sorry to jet, but gotta jet! :)Cloudtheavenger (talk) 04:28, July 11, 2018 (UTC)

Empty Cicada Shell Technique

This is a technique that projects the person's voice from a distance. The echoing only happened because it was in a wide and open area that carries the voice. Zabuzu used this technique to make it seem like he was far away, making it even easier for him to get through Team 7's defenses.--Steveo920 (talk) 19:54, July 26, 2018 (UTC)

Simple answer. One second, he sounds like he's standing from the afar, the next second, he's between Team 7's defenses.--Steveo920 (talk) 20:13, July 26, 2018 (UTC)

Yeah, but Body Flicker is more about quickly finishing the job. Zabuza was more about tormenting his foes.--Steveo920 (talk) 20:24, July 26, 2018 (UTC)

I read it and I still say that BFT is about quick attacks or escapes. Zabuza was going on and on about what it means to be a true shinobi.--Steveo920 (talk) 01:00, July 27, 2018 (UTC)

I bout this tired of your bullshit. You started the revert war by reverting my edit. I re-added the mention of superhuman strength, left the medical ninjutsu mention. However, you're complete wrong for reverting it as you mention nothing about the user smashing the ground, which is done for the jutsu. Lay off. You just want a problem. --Rai 水 (talk) 20:31, July 26, 2018 (UTC)

The edit is explained enough. The ground smashing is needed to be mentioned in the article. What don't any of y'all get about something so simple? --Rai 水 (talk) 20:41, July 26, 2018 (UTC)
Everything @Snapper has talked about has been solved in my edit if I'm not correct. I don't need a conversation when the edit speaks for itself. You reverting it just for the sake of plucking my nerves and force me to have a conversation is quite sad. Again, lay off. You know I don't very care for you and I personally try to stay away from you because it always becomes something like now. You should have just minded your business, knowing good and well that you don't particularly care and just want to start something with me. I'll ask you to leave me tf alone from now on, or will report you to @Dan. I'm not dealing with your shit anymore. --Rai 水 (talk) 20:48, July 26, 2018 (UTC)

Lightning Shadow clones.

Right, just to clarify, his Clone Tactics move literally mentions him making two lightning clones. So while the technique might not be named Lightning shadow clone, it literally includes mention of making them.--Hawkeye2701 (talk) 19:23, August 31, 2018 (UTC)

Lightning clones and lightning shadow clones are not the same thing.--BerserkerPhantom (talk) 21:09, August 31, 2018 (UTC)

How did you determine who used which jutsu? Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 18:48, September 12, 2018 (UTC)

Yo - long time - do you have discord? :> —GouenjiShuuya'123 (talk) 17:37, September 19, 2018 (UTC)

Do you see enough evidence in the series to change Chidori's page to flat out state it boost one's movement speed? I'm looking for opinions on the matter from those who are active. LoneNinja (talk) 22:38, October 10, 2018 (UTC)

Username with a cursed word?

i understand you and you wondering where's the cursed word thing, but there's no curse word, that user was being immature. he even removed Kurosuki Family Removal Mission article on his first edit. and it's a good thing Seel blocked him inifinitely, i hope you get the point though Kunoichi101 (talk) 22:52, October 27, 2018 (UTC)

But your written reason was "because of the username", hence my question. >_>--BerserkerPhantom (talk) 22:55, October 27, 2018 (UTC)
Just to elaborate: I didn't ban that user solely because of their username. If someone makes a new account on wikia with such a name, immediately puts things like "My occupation is fartface poopybutt" into their profile and then proceeds to randomly erase something from an article, they're fully aware of what they're doin. They were no first-time editor who simply didn't know how a wiki works, more likely, they're a previously banned user. Thus, I banned them infinitely. • Seelentau 愛 23:00, October 27, 2018 (UTC)
yes, what Seel said Kunoichi101 (talk) 23:01, October 27, 2018 (UTC)
Oh, geez. I know, I KNOW. I left the response because Kunoichi's reasoning, left on the page, was stupid, not that I didn't think the ban to be worthy... >____<--BerserkerPhantom (talk) 23:03, October 27, 2018 (UTC)
there there, i know you didn't realize, although i didn't mean it vaguely... sigh Kunoichi101 (talk) 23:05, October 27, 2018 (UTC)
