Hey Madara uchiha99, I just have two things to note.

Firstly, if you want to add a character or article to one of the categories like Leaf ninja, don't directly add the page to the category. You need to add the template for it.

If the page doesn't already have it add this to the very top:

{| class="box titleicons"

And after the space after || add in the Ninja loyalty template. So for a Leaf ninja you'd add something like this to the top of the page:

{| class="box titleicons"
|| Ninja loyalty

That will categorize them, and also add the icon up in the title bar for them.

Also, could you try adding in a Fair use rationale to the images you upload. If you don't add that then I eventually half to delete them. ~NOTASTAFF Daniel Friesen (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire) (talk) current discussion Nov 26, 2007 @ 03:45 (UTC)

Okay I will do that. Madara uchiha99 23:36, 26 November 2007 (UTC)Madara uchiha99

I did it Madara uchiha99 23:58, 26 November 2007 (UTC)Madara uchiha99

Those aren't really good or valid fair use rationales. I should have probably pointed you to some info. Take a look at Forum:Fair use tagging tips... for some tips on how to fix those fair use rationales. ~NOTASTAFF Daniel Friesen (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire) (talk) current discussion Nov 27, 2007 @ 04:07 (UTC)

I did what you said Madara uchiha99 19:41, 28 November 2007 (UTC)Madara uchiha99

Now I'm curious

Who are these "Kages" you are talking about?--TheUltimate3 00:19, 27 November 2007 (UTC)

^_^ Madara uchiha99, the Kage you speak of is just a little thing we did to the user groups because of how fanatic most people on the site are about Naruto. We made it look like the Bureaucrat flag which allows someone to promote users to Sysop, Bureaucrat, or Rollback was named Kage just for fun. We did the same for the Sysop flag which is for general administration, in that case making it look like the rank Jonin. And We made it look like users who had rollback permissions had a Tokubetsu Jonin flag when it was really just a rollback flag.

Those flags are just a fun gimmick on the site, editing or doing stuff doesn't make you earn more ranks. They're just a fun way of referring to the normal user flags on the wiki.

Oh, I should also note that TranClan is actually the original founder of the wiki, he abandoned it and I adopted it. He won't be showing up again, and even with that flag he wouldn't really be considered much of an administrator if he did. ~NOTASTAFF Daniel Friesen (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire) (talk) current discussion Nov 27, 2007 @ 03:54 (UTC)

i have a question for your user page,Madara uchiha99. do you make the font so big? do you type in japanese?and what type? do you make the titles for internal links?Hantou Mclean 14:13, 23 February 2008 (UTC) someone cant be killed again and again by madara because everyone except hidan has one life.Hantou Mclean 14:24, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

Don't post useless comments on Blocked users pages. It's not needed and does more harm than good. ~NOTASTAFF Daniel Friesen (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire) (talk) current discussion Nov 27, 2007 @ 04:02 (UTC)

Uchiha Clan Family & Tokubetsu Jonin

Madara uchiha99, just because people are of the same clan does not make them family. It's possible to be of the same clan as someone while not being part of their family.

Also, Tokubetsu Jonin is a status below Jonin. Just because someone is on ANBU does not mean they are only a Tokubetsu Jonin, it's completely possible for someone to have acquired full Jonin status. ~NOTASTAFF Daniel Friesen (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire) (talk) current discussion Dec 3, 2007 @ 18:11 (UTC)

Haku dispute

Hello, Madara uchiha99. There's been a dispute going on over at Talk:Haku. Please don't add to it (It's not going to solve much), but I'd like to know what your opinion as a member of the community is on how disruptive that dispute is. Personally I think it's to much for one piece of information on a low appearing character in the series, especially when only one new editor thinks it's even remotely debatable. Feel free to direct any comments on it to my talkpage or to this section on your own. I'd like to know what the community feels about this debate in relation to the Narutopedia so I know how to act on it. ~NOTASTAFF Daniel Friesen (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire) (talk) current discussion Dec 10, 2007 @ 01:53 (UTC)

When getting rid of that Wikipedia template

Please simply add "translation" in its place. Don't just delete it, that screws up the template and leaves that { there and that simply isn't needed.--TheUltimate3 14:57, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

I'm assuming that you're noting about changing nihongo to {{translation}}. I should also note a few important things in converting (The reasons I've never aliased Nihongo to Translation)
  • In the romanji section, don't use the double quotes for italics. It's automatic so if you leave that wp formatting in, it will break things.
  • When you've got a literal translation(meaning) of something the parameter to use is |lit meaning=. (To many people miss this one).

Warning IP's

Madara uchiha99, quite simply. We don't go and warn small ip vandals like the one you mentioned. Quite simply, you'd be astounded at the number of people who jump to a wiki with an IP, vandalize a page, then never return. There is quite simply no point in warning, or even blocking single edit vandals. The only time vandalism warrants action other than a revert is when a person returns to vandalize, or makes a mass amount of large and obvious vandalism. The latter is just a simple ban, the former depends on what type of vandalism. And there's no exterior restriction to really who can give a warning. Anyone is free to just go and "Thanks for your edit, though could you please not make your test edits on the Main Page.", or "Please don't blank articles." on a user's talkpage. The only restriction would be "Or you will be blocked.", which even the nonexistant Chunin rank has no use for, because that's something limited to those who can actually block a user. Empty threats by users just doesn't fit a wiki, and can actually be decremental to it no matter who is making it. Even threats by sysops aren't good. ~NOTASTAFF Daniel Friesen (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire) (talk) current discussion Feb 21, 2008 @ 06:24 (UTC)

Wikipedia page coppies from Source

Madara uchiha99, adding Wikipedia tags to pages which were copied from Wikipedia's page text doesn't fix them. They still need to be replaced entirely because they are useless without the source text. ~NOTASTAFF Daniel Friesen (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire) (talk) current discussion Feb 23, 2008 @ 19:34 (UTC)

It's kinda a long story. I'm a member of a gaming site that's a fan os the Zelda video game series. I went by the name of Whocares there. I constantly changed my name several times, however, to Zelda characters, and eventually other things (namely Naruto). I realized this, and immediately changed my name to "Artist Formerly Known As Whocares". Artist because I keep coming up with new names, like artists with paintings. Formerly Known As Whocares, because I'm not really Whocares anymore. When I joined Wikipedia, I used the Artist one because I thought Whocares was probably used already.

Clear up confusion? Artist Formerly Known As Whocares 20:25, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

Hey,Madara uchiha99-san,since you have an infobox already, you could add Madara Uchiha picture to it.the one in the article.

Question mark image

Where did you get Image:Question mark.jpg? Looking at it I highly doubt that it is Public Domain. Actually a number of the other freely licensed images we already have may be useful instead. ~NOTASTAFF Daniel Friesen (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire) (talk) current discussion Apr 5, 2008 @ 00:02 (UTC)

You can never assume that. If there is no licensing information then copyright law immediately states that the image is copyright to the original author. So no, the image is not public domain, it's copyrighted and not approved for use. Google images is a very bad place to try and find images, 99.99% of the ones there are copyrighted and unsuitable for use other than when you are tracking down official naruto images. ~NOTASTAFF Daniel Friesen (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire) (talk) current discussion Apr 5, 2008 @ 21:28 (UTC)

Honestly if you wanted me to add an image for infoboxes that had no image. I think the best thing would be either the info Icon, help icon, or the red or yellow warning icons. However, IMHO the infoboxes are best without that kind of image cruft inside them. If they don't have an image, then don't show a big piece of cruft in it's place. It honestly looks worse than having no image. ~NOTASTAFF Daniel Friesen (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire) (talk) current discussion Apr 5, 2008 @ 22:27 (UTC)

I made it past the third question. That was the last. That was awesome! I wish I could go further. Kakashi Namikaze 23:31, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

Madara please don't fill up your userspace and the recentchanges with a pile of cruft. Perhaps you should take a look at w:Games. ~NOTASTAFF Daniel Friesen (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire) (talk) current discussion Apr 7, 2008 @ 00:32 (UTC)

Excuse me, Madara Uchiha99, when is the "Quote of the Week" going to be updated? Kakashi Namikaze 21:00, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

madara uchiha99, I've deleted User:Madara uchiha99/Deidara, User:Madara uchiha99/Previous Quotes of Week, User:Madara uchiha99/Sasuke x Itachi x Orochimaru, and User:Madara uchiha99/Zetsu since they were unrelated to the wiki and get to many edits to them to warrant staying. I'd be happy to help bring them over to the Naruto Fanon Wiki though. ~NOTASTAFF Daniel Friesen (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire) (talk) current discussion May 25, 2008 @ 20:36 (UTC)

Madara uchiha99, a userpage is not something that should need edits very often. If an editor is editing their userpage multiple times daily, then they are making the wrong use of it. ~NOTASTAFF Daniel Friesen (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire) (talk) current discussion May 31, 2008 @ 19:11 (UTC)
