Sasuke Shinden tidbits

Shock Dragoon recently added a few articles of some Sasuke Shinden stuff, translated from the Brazilian Portuguese wiki. I've cleaned up the translations from the Portuguese, but comparing it to the little information that was available in the Japanese Wikipedia, it appears to have some stuff missing or mistranslated. You typically have a better lay of the land in getting to scans or reliable scripts, so if you could take a look at it. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 02:27, May 2, 2016 (UTC)

To my knowledge, there's only one dude who translates the Shinden novel, so all the information probably comes from him. Since I neither have the raw nor read the translation, I can't confirm or deny anything. But I'm in contact with the translator (and already asked him to join us), so if you have any questions, I can redirect them. :) • Seelentau 愛 08:20, May 3, 2016 (UTC)
The only specific things I can think of at the moment are confirmation on the name of the dōjutsu (from the BP wiki we got Kerryūgan, Japanese Wikipedia says Ketsuryūgan), and whether blood and blood iron manipulation are part of its abilities or not. The text the BP wiki has is contradictory. In the dōjutsu article, it says those may or may not be abilities from the kekkei genkai, in the actual jutsu article it says it is for a fact. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 14:54, May 3, 2016 (UTC)
The reading of 血龍眼 is けっりゅうがん Kerryūgan. Regarding its abilities, I don't know. • Seelentau 愛 15:08, May 3, 2016 (UTC)
I thought that was the correct reading as well, I just found it weird that the Japanese Wikipedia would have an incorrect reading. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 15:20, May 3, 2016 (UTC)

Ages 2

So I've been seeing character's ages being added. Some from the new generation, and some from the previous series. Boruto's peers are all 11 in Gaiden as what someone put, except Boruto. In Boruto the Movie, he and all his peers are put under the age of 12. I want to know where these are coming from? Do you have any idea? I just don't want that to be someone's assumption is all.

For previous characters, Chojuro is added as being 21 in Blank Period. Why is it he's added two years older, but some other characters who were part of the Blank Period aren't? --Rai 水 (talk) 02:09, May 4, 2016 (UTC)

Nevermind about the new generation. They were sourced within the summary. As for characters in Blank Period. We know that at least in The Last, it takes place two years later, so if characters were in The Last, would that be okay to put them two years older or not? --Rai 水 (talk) 05:39, May 4, 2016 (UTC)
Yes, the Boruto characters' ages are given in the WSJ, except for Boruto. Dunno why.
Do you know when exactly it takes place? Can we really say for sure that all characters are exactly two years older? I don't know why Chojuro was added as being 21, I can't remember any source saying so. If The Last takes place before his birthday - which is possible, from what I know - his age is wrong, even though it sounds right (cause 19+2=21). But somehow, not everyone understands that. • Seelentau 愛 06:49, May 4, 2016 (UTC)

RE: flash-forward

Cool. Doesn't make much of a difference tho' >.<. --BerserkerPhantom (talk) 20:03, May 4, 2016 (UTC)

Yo. Just jumpin' in to ask whether we consider TCG information credible now? Since you haven't really responded here no more, I figured I'd ask you in person :p--BerserkerPhantom (talk) 16:00, May 6, 2016 (UTC)

So you're green-lighting stuff like this? :p
I agree with you that we can allow distinct stuff, like Tailed Beast Sealing and Coercion Sharingan, but I don't see any distinction for Deidara and Sai's stuff (that have been added recently) that cannot be decently explained, hence I'm asking... +The kanji for those techniques are un-sourced (and those which are sourced have completely different names than those in the articles). Just my way of asking whether they can be used as redirects instead, to the original articles (like One-Tail Rasengan and Flapping Chidori)?--BerserkerPhantom (talk) 16:18, May 6, 2016 (UTC)
The problem is: The "mother" article has all of the information, presented in the other articles, in it... The only difference I came across is that "some work in water", which is a thing that should be mentioned in the trivia (and used to be before the creation of the articles) and shouldn't hold much of a candle for creating additional articles with no value. I really challenge you to find a good enough excuse for us to keep Tomoe Lion as its own article.--BerserkerPhantom (talk) 16:32, May 6, 2016 (UTC)
So.. Are we guchi? Can I change those articles into redirects? Or do we really need ~10 articles for Super Beast Imitating Drawing and it's formes.--BerserkerPhantom (talk) 21:03, May 6, 2016 (UTC)
I haven't really seen a good "argument" for keeping them, really. I know that there will be some backlash, and I know exactly from whom, but to me it's literally "Flapping Chidori 2.0", as I've compared to it before; Those articles provide nothing that is not mentioned in the original article, hence they're just a waste of space.--BerserkerPhantom (talk) 21:14, May 6, 2016 (UTC)
I'mma try to work on a topic in the forums some time in the near future, so for now I'll only make redirects of the techniques that are literally listed in it's mother page (all the ink animals and C1 creatures, of which there are galleries in the mothers page, hence - irrelevant articles). For something more major, I won't redirect 'em yet. Cool? :)--BerserkerPhantom (talk) 21:18, May 6, 2016 (UTC)

Translation favour

Hi Seelentau. I'm Sulina, an editor from Narutopedia and Dragon Universe Wiki. I'm building another wiki for a Japanese manga, but I'm not at full-fledged translating level. Could you do me a favour? Translation request

Hi senpai, I wanna thank you for correcting the titles of episode #462 in my anime schedule list, you're welcome at anytime to check my page ifanything gets wrong there.

If you have time, can you translate this sentence for me? Thanks so much ... "何も語らない母・カグヤの心の内を知るすべがなく戸惑うハゴロモとハムラ。2人の前にガマ丸が現れ、“終焉の峠”と呼ばれる峠を指差し「そこに真実がある」と言う。 —Shakhmoot Nadeshiko Village Symbol (Talk) 17:39, May 11, 2016 (UTC)

Uh, it says Hagoromo and Hamura are perplexed because they don't know what's going on inside their mother Kaguya's mind. Gamamaru appears before them, points at a pass called Mountain Pass of Demise (終焉の峠, Shūen no Tōge) and says "There's the truth". • Seelentau 愛 17:53, May 11, 2016 (UTC)

Klar, bin da noch mit beschäftigt. Worum geht's denn? Norleon (talk) 02:48, May 15, 2016 (UTC)

Norleon (talk) 12:31, May 15, 2016 (UTC)
:) Norleon (talk) 05:02, May 16, 2016 (UTC)
:) Norleon (talk) 11:28, May 16, 2016 (UTC)

Two things. All timelines given to use place Sasuke leaving 1 year after the war in Chapter 699, when he leaves Kakashi finally has his Kage face on the Kage Monument.. that's 18anb. 2 years later the Last takes place at the end of 20anb.

15 years plus 18yrs is 33anb for Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring where Sarada is still 11 meaning it took place at least a day before her birthday right?? QuakingStar (talk) 21:47, May 18, 2016 (UTC)

eeeehhh... dunno? :D • Seelentau 愛 22:21, May 18, 2016 (UTC)

Just checked, it would have to be before her bday. Meaning Naruto and his generation are 20yrs old in the Last, minus Hinata. Konohamaru, Lee, and Sai have not aged yet either there. Are there any news as additions to the timeline? or anything that the novels have brought up for Shisui?? He was apparently a fresh Genin when the third war ended, his friend died, and he awakened the Mangekyo. Considering Kakashi was 14 when the Kyubi attack happened and the fact that Shisui still looks like 13-14 and still has a kid voice when Itachi was 8, I would say he is only 4-7 years older than Itachi.. this is frustrating when Kishi or Pierrot want to leave out info about characters and events.. QuakingStar (talk) 22:51, May 18, 2016 (UTC)

We're not going to add calculated ages to the infoboxes. Same goes for heights and anything else that isn't sourced. • Seelentau 愛 23:16, May 18, 2016 (UTC)

It's good to see you too, my friend. I must say, I never knew what a river of shit Kishi created when he made the Ōtsutsuki aliens until this filler arc. Chakra clearly isn't the only thing that powers them, because they came to Earth (somehow), yet the Divine Tree grants chakra... so did they eat the fruits of other trees (and if so, why did Kaguya have to eat the earth's to gain godlike powers)? Do they just naturally have power? And if so, why have a Byakugan, which detects chakra, if there wasn't chakra before the Shinju? So many questions x_x I love this series to death, but damn. Ten Tailed Fox (Talk) 20:03, May 19, 2016 (UTC)

Byakugan's Origin

Hello A year ago, I created a thread about Ōtsutsuki's clan Kekkei Genkai [here]. You responded that according to a databook Kaguya had the Byakugan before she ate the Chakra fruit. Knowing that you are Sysop and Translator I never checked but in the recent episode It was shown that she wasn't able to use it until she ate the Chakra fruit. The episode is not canon but I hope that you can tell me exactly where it was mentionned (without providing links of course). Thanks. --Sifadil (talk) 18:09, May 20, 2016 (UTC)

Well, in the fourth databook. It implies that Kaguya, who possessed the Byakugan in both eyes, ate the chakra fruit and also awakened the Rinne Sharingan in her forehead. • Seelentau 愛 20:04, May 20, 2016 (UTC)

Is this any different than what is already on the page we have?? QuakingStar (talk) 20:02, May 21, 2016 (UTC)

Mhm. QuakingStar (talk) 20:24, May 21, 2016 (UTC)

Hello Seelentau. This is really just a quick question. I believe you translate 'Rikudō Sennin Mōdo' as Sage of Six Paths Mode, and 'Rikudō no Sennin Chakura' as Six Paths Sage Chakra. Does the 'no' really make it that different? Thanks D.Phoenix (talk) 04:11, May 24, 2016 (UTC)

Funny that you ask, there's been a long discussion about this topic here. The no is a possessive particle most commonly translated as of. The difference in meaning is bigger in Japanese than it is in English, though. Literally, the first is Six Paths Sage Mode and the second is Sage Chakra of Six Paths. However, we translated Rikudo Sennin as Sage of Six Paths simply because it sounds better and at that time, we had no Rikudo no Sennin Chakura, so we didn't bother with the difference between Rikudo no X and Rikudo X. • Seelentau 愛 08:38, May 24, 2016 (UTC)

Hamura and Six Paths Senjutsu

I know that from Six Paths Chibaku Tensei's entry it was added that Hamura could use Six Paths Senjutsu. But can he really? I mean, Sasuke used SPCT, and he didn't have SPS, Naruto did. It it possible that only Hagoromo is required to have SPS for the jutsu to work? Or is SPS somehow contained in the Yin and Yang seals Naruto and Sasuke got as well? Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 17:09, May 24, 2016 (UTC)

I think the latter is true. But since mostof it was left unexplained, I can't really say anything about it aside from "It was stated in the databook". • Seelentau 愛 08:33, May 25, 2016 (UTC)

Inappropriate name?

Hey, I was tipped that this user, Has an inappropriate name. I dunno for sure, Google Translate doesn't help. Do you know if it's good or not? Thanks AsianReaper (talk) 18:15, May 26, 2016 (UTC)

Yes, I've known about his name for a long time. It means Lick my hole. I was thinking about banning the account, but we don't have a username policy and acting on my own usually induces the wrath of certain users, screaming rights abuse and using it as a pretext to flame me. So I didn't do anything. But then again, none of you guys can actually read it and it's not that bad, or does anyone feel offended? I don't, but I've been around for too long for letting something like that get to me. • Seelentau 愛 18:27, May 26, 2016 (UTC)
Plenty of user accounts have been blocked in the past for having inappropriate names, there's never been a need to have a policy on it, since it's obvious that such names violate the Wikia TOU. --Sajuuk 18:32, May 26, 2016 (UTC)
Well, I don't want to be the one to decide what's inappropriate and what isn't. I mean, we also have a user whose name literally means sexual intercourse, just in a language none of you understands. • Seelentau 愛 18:35, May 26, 2016 (UTC)
The language used has no relevance on anything, given that user accounts on Wikia are global across the service. If the account name is inappropriate, the user account gets blocked indefinitely (you only need to check the Special:BlockList and do Ctrl+F for "Unacceptable username" to see some accounts have been blocked for usernames that aren't exactly unacceptable), it's why there is an "Unacceptable username" block reason. Even if we don't block the account, I can easily report the account to Wikia as inappropriate and it will be global blocked by Wikia as a TOU violation. --Sajuuk 18:37, May 26, 2016 (UTC)
Yes, that's what I thought. Don't get me wrong, I've been meaning to ask the other sysops about this, but it just wasn't on top of my list. So if you want to report the account, go ahead. Wouldn't make much sense to just ban him here if he's globaly unacceptable, hm? • Seelentau 愛 18:41, May 26, 2016 (UTC)
I only report accounts on a case-by-case basis, usually if the account is being used to vandalise or spam wiki's. I don't report accounts that are being used properly with inappropriate account names, as usually the account can just be blocked locally with a request for them to use Special:Contact/rename-account to pick a more appropriate user name. Generally, I don't ticket Wikia asking them to block an account used only on one wiki with an inappropriate username, they would just ask local sysops to do that. Only if the user was editing multiple wiki's would they be likely to get involved.
The point of me mentioning "reporting to Wikia" is to point out that it is possible and Wikia can and does block inappropriate user names. Presumably, the user used that username in another language to get around the registration filters designed to block inappropriate account names. --Sajuuk 18:43, May 26, 2016 (UTC)

Hey, Tau! I have a bit of a request for you. It's an odd one, so bear with me. I'm writing a horror-related short story for fun, and it is set in the Black Forest in Germany. I need a phrase translated into German, and while I know a lot of German, I'm not confident in my fluent-ness hahaha Could you translate these sentences for me into German? They're a reference to a Stephen King novel I want to include in my story? They are:

"O my father, favor me now. Lord of Flies, favor me now. Now I bring you spoiled meat and reeking flesh. I have made a sacrifice for your favor. With my left hand I bring it. Make a sign for me on this ground, consecrated in your name. I wait for a sign to begin your work."

I really appreciate it and will be forever in your debt (as if I'm already not xD). Ten Tailed Fox (Talk) 19:12, May 26, 2016 (UTC)

Uh, sure, that's my profession, after all. But I have some questions: Favor me as in to do a favor or more in the sense of having mercy? And do you want it to sound archaic or "normal"? Also, "meat" and "flesh" both translate to the same thing in German, do you want me to shorten that? So this is just a rough draft:
"Oh mein Vater, nun sei mir gnädig. Herr der Fliegen, nun sei mir gnädig. Nun bringe ich dir verdorbenes Fleisch und stinkendes Fleisch. Ich biete ein Opfer für deine Gunst dar. Mit meiner linken Hand bringe ich es. Zeichne für mich den Boden, geheiligt in deinem Namen. Ich warte auf ein Zeichen, dein Werk zu beginnen."Seelentau 愛 19:32, May 26, 2016 (UTC)
Because I'm the best, I downloaded the German version to look for the actual translation of that sentences. It's:
"O mein Vater, erhöre mich jetzt. Herr der Fliegen, erhöre mich jetzt. Jetzt bringe ich dir verdorbenes Fleisch dar. Ich habe dir ein Opfer gebracht. Mit meiner Linken bringe ich es dir dar. Gib mir hier, auf diesem dir geweihten Boden ein Zeichen. Ich warte auf ein Zeichen, um deine Arbeit zu beginnen."
So if you want to use the original, there it is. :) • Seelentau 愛 20:32, May 26, 2016 (UTC)

We know Toneri is 184cm thanks to his Settei. Well Shino is 183cm according to the Jump J Book settei cast image which I think can be found here

Tsukumo's meaning

In Shisui's game jutsu, there's this term "Tsukumo", written the same way you'd write "ninety-nine". The closest definition tangorin can give me involves old woman hair. With a bit else attached, and a different reading, there is the "winding, meandering, sinuous, zigzag" definition. One of Kaguya's combos in UNS4 (her base combo if you go to her ice dimension) is called "Ninety-Nine Ice Pillars" in the game's English translation. The "winding, meandering, sinuous, zigzag" definition looks very appropriate when looking at the combo. Considering stuff about her is all rooted in mythology and literature, I'm willing to bet that "ninety-nine" also has to do with this "tsukumo" term. The only thing I was able to find with a quick look is essentially "Tsukumogami". Is there more to term than this, and is there another more appropriate way to translate the term Shisui's Susanoo: Tsukumo other than just leaving it as "tsukumo"? I'd ask about Kaguya's combo, but since I only have the English game name, I believe there's more to it that I simply can't know without the actual Japanese name. Well, a random Japanese magazine posting information doesn't make it official, does it? I mean, it's not like Kishimoto dictated them what to write in that chart. • Seelentau 愛 20:02, June 4, 2016 (UTC)

Idk, if it wasn't correct they wouldn't post it? Besides there are supposed to be 36 graduates from the academy each year and there meaning 12 Genin teams each year, I am assuming that since Team Gai was still active as Team 3 along with those other 3 goofs and Team Kabuto from the chunin exams that means that 3 of the graduate teams were sent back to the academy or assigned a different duty? We know there is at the least 10 teams since Team Asuma is Team 10, if Team Gai is Team 3 then that means the other 3 were Team 2 and and Kabuto was in Team 1? I feel like there can only be 10-12 Genin teams at a time. QuakingStar (talk) 20:09, June 4, 2016 (UTC)

Omai and Kisama pretty much mean the same thing except Kisama is more of a rude/condenscending way of referring to another person whereas Omai is more casual, right? Is there a formal pronoun for referring to another person?Cloudtheavenger (talk) 01:17, June 22, 2016 (UTC)

You probably mean おまえ (Omae)? Omae is male language and was once honorific, but now it's often used derogatorily. It's used when talking to an equal or inferior. きさま (Kisama) was once used politely as well, but is now only used in a derogatorive sense. The most common form to refer to someone is あなた (anata). If you're closer to that person, you can use きみ (kimi). • Seelentau 愛 08:17, June 22, 2016 (UTC)

White Zetsu's Jutsu

Seeing as the German version of Jin no Sho is out, could you take a quick look at the entries for Spore Technique and Substitute Technique? Hi. I found this Japanese review of Boruto chapter 3, and it seems that the term Shinki uses about Gaara is "義父上". I know "父上 (chichiue)" is polite term for father, and "義父 (gifu)" means "stepfather, foster father, father-in-law". Wouldn't that mean Gaara is stepfather of Shinki, Yodo and Araya? --JouXIII (talk) 15:12, July 8, 2016 (UTC)

Hm, it seems that was answered already... Oh well. Anyway, I said I found a scan of Boruto using "Violent Breath". Well, here it is. Also, apologises about the Boruto chapter 3 thread, I just wanted to make it clear to GoldLiger that just because one of his speculations came true, it doesn't mean all of them will come true. --JouXIII (talk) 11:42, July 11, 2016 (UTC)
Lightning Release Capsule: Violent Breath (雷遁弾・威吹, Raiton-dan: Ibuki). Ibuki is a wordplay on 息吹 ibuki, which means breath. The first kanji was swapped. Ibuki can also refer to a flower, but I'll have to see the water technique to confirm if that reference is intended or not. • Seelentau 愛 11:52, July 11, 2016 (UTC)
Wouldn't "Majestic Breath" be more fitting and constant with Majestic Attire: Susanoo? --JouXIII (talk) 12:07, July 11, 2016 (UTC)
Consistency is less important than a correct translation. In this case, there's nothing "majestic", it's more "violent", no? • Seelentau 愛 12:37, July 11, 2016 (UTC)
As far as I can tell, 威 doesn't really translate as "violent". Its meanings are "power; authority; might; influence; dignity; majesty; intimidate; menace; threaten". Also, from what I've seen with names of some techniques, they tend to be very fancy, so "majestic breath" would still fit. --JouXIII (talk) 13:23, July 11, 2016 (UTC)
Ah, sorry, yes. I took the "violent" from mangastream's translation. "Mighty" or "Powerful" would be good. We don't go for fancy names, we look at the technique and then we decide which translation we use. In this case, it's a powerful lightning stream. In Iso Susanoo's case, it's a majestic armour. • Seelentau 愛 13:35, July 11, 2016 (UTC)
Fair enough, but when I said fancy, I meant the Japanese names. For example, Japanese name of Multiple Lotus Nonself Connected Cannons is 多蓮不自連砲, Taren Fujizuhō, which is pretty fancy name for chakra cannons. Still, fair enough. --JouXIII (talk) 14:02, July 11, 2016 (UTC)
Do you want me to explain that name?^^ • Seelentau 愛 17:25, July 11, 2016 (UTC)
Well, "multiple", "connected" and "cannons" are obvious(there are many cannons and their attacks are connected like a combo). "Lotus" and "nonself" are probably symbolic related to Buddhism. Something like that? --JouXIII (talk) 17:53, July 11, 2016 (UTC)
No, it's a pun on this. • Seelentau 愛 18:03, July 11, 2016 (UTC)
Hmm, I see. Doesn't change the fact that it's still pretty fancy name... Oh well. --JouXIII (talk) 18:15, July 11, 2016 (UTC)

I reported it to VSTF so they could deal with it at a higher level (ie block the user across the service and put the content into their spam filters). Please don't local block spammers and leave it to VSTF to handle, VSTF's job is to handle spam on Wikia and posts like that are best left to the VSTF. >_> --Sajuuk 14:01, July 14, 2016 (UTC)

Please don't place local wiki blocks on users that have been global blocked. There is absolutely no point in local blocks when a user has been global'd, because global blocks prevent them editing/accessing the entire Wikia service (ie all wiki's that Wikia hosts): all your local blocks do is add pointless and meaningless entries to Special:BlockList and the block logs for a user who can't actually come back anyway.
In addition, the local block you placed on Inuzuka176 was at least 40 minutes after action had been taken by the VSTF, as the user was already global'd by the time you came along and placed an unnecessary local block on them.--Sajuuk 08:21, July 15, 2016 (UTC)

re: "threat"

It's not a "threat". I used the normal template that everyone else uses when they revert vandalism / bad edits from pages. I'm not going to stop using a template that does what it should: warns users not to make unproductive edits or risk a block. Just because it says they may be blocked does not mean they will. Wiki's operate on the principle of being open and free communities, blocks are only meant to be used for extreme instances of vandalism. It is better to educate users through their talkpage with a notice that their edits were deemed to be unproductive, rather than blocking them immediately (something you do far too often, especially on people who get global blocked / reported to VSTF). --Sajuuk 15:32, July 16, 2016 (UTC)

There is no need to lighten the tone of the template, it's wording is fine. I have posted that template on many talkpages and it hasn't desisted anyone from editing, especially given that very few people bother reading their talkpage in any case. --Sajuuk 15:37, July 16, 2016 (UTC)
It didn't really matter about the warning I posted anyway. They just abandoned the account, made a new one and continued making the same edits to the page. This is deliberate vandalism. --Sajuuk 15:40, July 16, 2016 (UTC)
You should consider educating yourself in how Wikia operates as a service, as you've missed a few things.
Obvious spam from spambots and TOU violations are dealt with by VSTF or Wikia Staff, not local sysops. That is why the VSTF exists. If you see spam or pornographic content, you report it to VSTF: they have the tools to prevent a user using all of Wikia, as spam and pornographic content are TOU violations.
You were told by Dantman before not to keep using infinite blocks on single edit vandals. Clearly you think you are above the blocking policy on this wiki, as it states right there that minor edits do not warrant an infinite block. You use infinite blocks only for the purpose of dealing with extremely bad users, not just people who make a couple of bad edits and leave.
This is not your wiki. I don't know why you keep misusing the block tools to block people who don't need to be infinite blocked. The two blocks you applied to globally blocked users had to be undone because they are unnecessary. --Sajuuk 15:49, July 16, 2016 (UTC)
@Seelentau: if you like, I'll champion the revamping of the warning templates. I've also found them to be worded too severely, especially for first time users...--Cerez365Hyūga Symbol(talk) 16:33, July 17, 2016 (UTC)
@Cerez: No point in revamping them. According to Seelentau, nobody is allowed to use them, because according to him, "it's not our job to warn users but the job of sysops". So by Seelentau's logic, we should just delete all the notice templates and let vandals run free until some sysop comes along to do the warning. --Sajuuk 16:39, July 17, 2016 (UTC)
Man... you're really beyond words. Just... I can't even decide if I should insult you or be sarcastic or ignore you. I mean, what the fuck is your problem with everything I do? You can't still be salty over me becoming sysop instead of you, can you? I've been on the internet for over a decade, I've frequented thousands of sites, forums, comment sections, you name it. But you're the single most immature, childish and conceited human being I've ever encountered. Ever. And I've been on 4chan, reddit and the YouTube comment section.
I consider myself to have a large English vocabulary but I can't find the words to describe you. You're beyond belief, Sajuuk. I mean, don't you think I wouldn't notice you kudos-ing literally every forum post that somehow disagrees with my own? Even when I'm correcting them? Or things like what you wrote on Omni's talk page some hours ago? Dude, I don't know how old you are, but if I were to go by your behaviour here, I would assume you're like, 14 or 15 or something like that. Normally, I would never waste my time to write something like this, because it's just not worth it. But you're too much, man. You're like the Narutopedia's Danzo, while the sysops are the Hokage, me being Hiruzen. Hopefully that metaphor is understandable.
Nothing you do here does the wiki any good. All you do is whine about me or act like a sysop. Didn't you want to leave the wikia like a year ago? What became of that? Don't you have some YouTube stuff going on? Or other wikis you can edit? Or is all the whining and complaining about me fun? Because you can be sure of one thing: It doesn't change anything and never will. On the contrary, all you do is making yourself look more stupid with each snarky comment. And don't think I'm the only one thinking that or being fed up with your antics. • Seelentau 愛 16:58, July 17, 2016 (UTC)
Never a quiet weekend eh. Seelentau don't take the bait. Be smarter than that. S Be smarter with the new users. Not everybody needs to be threatened with a ban if their editing is not up to standards. Teach and be an example, not a dick. Cerez365, I'll support the rewording of templates to sound less confrontational. They lose their purpose if they are I feel.--TheUltimate3 Akimichi Symbol (talk) 20:20, July 17, 2016 (UTC)

RE: Interview

While in the interview 15 years is brought up, it's in relation to the 15 years passing since the manga started and furthermore, 15 years was brought up and only talked about by the interviewer, not Kishimoto. --Sarutobii2 (talk) 20:30, July 17, 2016 (UTC)

Wasn't aware that 15 years was brought up elsewhere in the article. Will revert changes. --Sarutobii2 (talk) 20:51, July 17, 2016 (UTC)

Mawashi and Tenga details

Can you translate "demon sergeant" for me please to add to Mawashi's article? Also was any rank mentioned for him? And for Tenga: was the Daimyō Intelligence Bureau mentioned as an actual organization or just a description?--Cerez365Hyūga Symbol(talk) 00:34, July 26, 2016 (UTC)

Who the fck is Mawashi? For Tenga, it's just a description. • Seelentau 愛 09:21, July 26, 2016 (UTC)
Mawashi Dokuraku lol? I believe he has a databook entry. Thanks for the Tenga info.--Cerez365Hyūga Symbol(talk) 15:03, July 26, 2016 (UTC)

Translation request

Hi senpai, can you translate episode #471 title which is (二人をちゃんと) properly? It comes from Rin's last statement as I think (二人をちゃんと見てる)... Thanks so much... —Shakhmoot Nadeshiko Village Symbol (Talk) 13:50, July 26, 2016 (UTC)

eeeh, it's kinda impossible to translate, because the verb is missing. It's something like "I will always you two" and "I will always watch over you two". • Seelentau 愛 14:12, July 26, 2016 (UTC)
Yeah, I got you .. But I'll take the second one since it was mentioned in chapter #687. Thanks :) —Shakhmoot Nadeshiko Village Symbol (Talk) 18:30, July 26, 2016 (UTC)

Re: He's at it again

Ah, yes I noticed that he was infinitely banned from the Bleach Wikia. Now that you've brought it to my attention... Paladin78 again? I say yes for the block. Can't believe I didn't notice at first... O_o WindStar7125 Divine Mangekyō Sharingan VolteMetalic 05:37, August 2, 2016 (UTC)

Yes, that's true. Yeesh, he's a persistent one. But he makes it way too easy. WindStar7125 Divine Mangekyō Sharingan VolteMetalic 05:48, August 2, 2016 (UTC)
Hmm... that actually does look like him again after looking at his history.... Buuuuut there's still a possibility that could actually be a legit editor so I'd hold off for now and let him edit a bit more just in case... Translation of Rin no Sho

Hello, I'm a community admin in Spanish Naruto Wiki. I was wondering if you could help us translate the following excerpt from Rin no Sho.

We'll be very grateful. I'm not good at English so use Google Translator.--Dariel Senju (talk) 20:20, August 21, 2016 (UTC)

What pages is it from? - Seelentau Talk 20:27, August 21, 2016 (UTC)

Database download

I can't download the database dumps. Request new database is missing. Any solution? Analyst1996 (talk) 12:34, August 27, 2016 (UTC)

...what? - Seelentau Talk 12:35, August 27, 2016 (UTC)
He's talking about the database dump feature Wikia has, presumably to export the whole wiki somewhere else. No idea why he wants to do that, nor any idea why he messaged every single sysop of the wiki with the same question. Help:Database download explains it better.
As a point of interest, the wiki has long had a problem with users downloading whole copies of the site (either through database dumps or using Special:Export) just to make a duplicate wiki. Wikia Staff sadly don't plan on solving this problem, so all we can do is tell users who want to export the whole wiki not to bother and to just edit here instead. --Sajuuk 12:47, August 27, 2016 (UTC)

Sajuuk Sorry about me posting the same question everywhere. I was not sure how active the admin were so i posted it everywhere. Really sorry. As for what i do with it I read the whole wiki offline Analyst1996 (talk) 13:13, August 27, 2016 (UTC)

Translate this page

I apologize to bother you again, I want to ask if you can translate the dialogues of this page, because I want to make one of the statements that say on this page. I know this part is already translated into English and Spanish, but like I said, I want to make sure that the fansub it translated correctly.

I recall someone posting a Kishi interview in the forum and you translating a part of it saying Momoshiki and Kishiki were father and son. Also can you way in on the discussion happening on my talk page about whether or not Kishiki can absorb chakra. --Sarutobii2 (talk) 10:07, September 17, 2016 (UTC)

Quick Question on Team Shinki

Just a quick question for my own interests. Months ago, I thought the Japanese suggested that all of Team Shinki were Gaara's adopted children. But now it only seems to be Shinki? Re: Teams confusion

My guess is that it's possible those are just different names for the same team, similar to the names for the Allied Shinobi Forces divisions one through five, which also had those range based names. For Ibiki, the way I currently understand, the team he's currently listed as heading is the main branch of Konoha's Intelligence Division. The amount of conflicting information through the years just puts me in a "fine, whatever" mood, depending on the subject. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 20:25, September 20, 2016 (UTC)

From memory, I don't recall where the names are from. My best guess is either manga telling them in passing, or databook. Much like the Konohamaruda thing you corrected the other day, these seem to be those things that fall through the cracks if they're not caught when they're added. I think the only way to know for certain why and when certain things were added is to check the article's history. Renames and such tend to have sources in edit summaries.
