TheUltimate3 Corner

When you have the time, could you make the symbol on the Allied Forces' headband? We're going to need it now. Many thanks.--TheUltimate3 ~The User King ~ 23:08, November 2, 2010 (UTC)

Been a while since I used this huh. Anyway, new chapter came up with two new Releases (yay.../sarcasm), Explosion Release and Scorching Release. I take it these are wrong.--TheUltimate3 ~The User King ~ 09:13, December 26, 2010 (UTC)
As well as new attacks that use them, Scorch Release: Steaming Slaughter, and Explosion Release: Landmine Punch. Again, I take these as wrong, correct?--TheUltimate3 ~The User King ~ 09:17, December 26, 2010 (UTC)
Many thanks and sorry to bother you with it.--TheUltimate3 ~The User King ~ 18:16, December 26, 2010 (UTC)

GoDai Corner

Can I say stuff all on here from now on? I think it may get a little chaotic if I have to create a new section for this (maybe).

So I thought about what natures would be simultaneously used to create Explosion.

  • First of all, I strongly believe that it must contain Earth, due to Lightning being able to diffuse the bombs. Something tells me Sasuke reading the Snake seal means something, too. Also, we often guess an advanced nature includes a certain basic nature when we see the user using that specific basic nature, and in this case, Deidara uses Earth.
  • "Jirai 地雷" contains both 土 and 雷 somewhere in there (However, as you already know, 爆 also includes 火). I believe this term came from something like "Lightning from the ground," as that was what they seemed like to people of older times. To me, Earth+Lightning makes sense symbolically also. --GoDai (talk) 11:25, December 31, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, effect-wise, even for me any combination of Fire, Wind, and Lightning would make sense, that is if all options were open. Seeing how Explosion Release: Landmine Fist worked, there clearly was no material-based effects in it, only a release of explosive energy. Although even for me Earth seems to be not so much involved, a few things make it likely for me:

  • It comes from Iwagakure, where Earth is a common affinity. Deidara also had Earth.
  • Sasuke was able to observe and see that Deidara's techniques were somehow Earth-related, through the used seals and their appearance.
  • Lightning was able to diffuse the Explosions.
    • If this was something like counterbalancing and Explosion includes Lightning, it may make sense, although I can't imagine how it would exactly work.

However, as Earth seems to make almost no sense to some, I would theorize the Earth nature affects the things it can cause explosions in. Clay is earth-based, and as Earth Release: Earth Spear and Earth Release: Aggravated Rock Technique showed us, Earth Release can affect things other than earth. It may be the same case with Gari's technique, where he makes the person explode somehow. --GoDai (talk) 22:43, December 31, 2010 (UTC)

Deidara doesn't possess Explosion Release

What he's using is the Kinjutsu from Iwagakure and Detonating Clay. Why would he have a Kekki Genkai when he HATES Kekki Genkai's?--NaruHina fan (talk) 23:59, December 30, 2010 (UTC)

Maybe Deidara created his techniques to OUTDO Bakuton? Look, Deidara's techniques could be read by the Sharingan. If they were a Kekki Genkai, they wouldn't be able to. He may have been part of the Blast Corps (Mangastream didn't put that in), but he doesn't have Bakuton.--NaruHina fan (talk) 00:10, December 31, 2010 (UTC)
That could have been an error in the RAW that other translators left out due to what we knew of Deidara's jutsu. We saw Gari's techniques are completely different from Deidara's.--NaruHina fan (talk) 00:18, December 31, 2010 (UTC)
Maybe Kishimoto took a picture out of the very first Naruto movie's book-you know with Ice Release users who don't have a Kekki Genkai. --NaruHina fan (talk) 00:24, December 31, 2010 (UTC)
Its also possible that the kinjutsu makes any chakra explosive. Since chakra is energy, its possible that the kinjutsu converts it into an explosive type. --NaruHina fan (talk) 00:28, December 31, 2010 (UTC)
Until we know more on how Deidara's jutsu works, I don't think we should jump the gun and classify him as a Kekki Genkai user. --NaruHina fan (talk) 00:31, December 31, 2010 (UTC)

i kinda think that the exploding clay is earth release, given the fact that sasuke negated the exploding clay bombs with his lightning release and earth is weak against lightning.--Yukikoandthe (talk) 00:43, January 3, 2011 (UTC)

I was thinking the same thing at first, but then I thought that maybe it was the clay that was neutralized and not the Explosion Release that was charged on it. I'm not sure, but it could be slightly different than just making things explode like Gari does. Diamonddeath (talk | contribs) 03:23, February 25, 2011 (UTC)

Hey I was wondering. Could you give me a bit of a tutorial and explain how the icons you've created work on the wiki? I know they are SVG files, but I would like to know some more information of how they work so that I could utilize them in articles as well. For example the icon you made for Madara's Mangekyō Sharingan could be in his infobox but there is no way to list it. Also as another example the team icons you have created such as the Sound Four or Twelve Guardian Ninja work in infoboxes even though they do not appear on the page itself. This is also the same with the various nature and land icons as well. {{SUBST:User:Banan14kab/sig2}} 13:44, December 31, 2010 (UTC)

Dajimu and Tera

Hi Suki, I just wanted to ask why Dajimu and Tera are listed as two persons? In the RAW Danzou said ダジム・テラ and afaik the ・ is used as a space between a katakana name, for example アンゲラ・メルケル (Angela Merkel) or as a colon in jutsu names. And also I wanted to ask if you know a site where I can read manga raws, cuz I don't want to depend on this wiki every time I need the kanji for jutsu and such. Madara's Izanagi

It is said that to use Izanagi the user must sacrifice one eye, but when Madara used it to escape form death when fighting Konan he didn't (seem to) lose any, on the contrary, he appeared with a new (hidden) eye. Japanese name for advanced elements?

Is there a japanese overall-name for the advanced elements (Mokuton and such)? Like there's 五大基本性質 for the five elements... Seelentau 愛 19:52, January 6, 2011 (UTC)

Okay. And another one, if you don't mind: This article says that the five elements are called 五大性質変化, but you translated them as 五大基本性質. Which is correct? I think both, cause the first is for what ninja do with the elements and the second is for the elements as what they are. Am I correct? If yes, then why isn't the second word in the linked article? imO they should be clearly differed from each other. What do you think, Mr. Suki? Seelentau 愛 20:33, January 6, 2011 (UTC)
Weren't they referred to as "elementally-recomposed nature type"? We list so in the nature transformation page. I think the term was used by Kakashi when he was explaining those for Naruto during his wind-chakra training. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 18:09, January 7, 2011 (UTC)
Yes, thatÄs what I meant. But I need the japanese name^^ Seelentau 愛 18:51, January 7, 2011 (UTC)
I can't find any term that refers specifically to what we call advanced natures. Where was "elementally-recomposed nature type" said, exactly? —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 19:00, January 7, 2011 (UTC)
I think it's in chapter 316. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 19:03, January 7, 2011 (UTC)
I can't find it. They do say Mokuton isn't a basic nature (基本性質, kihon seishitsu), but the don't call it anything other than a nature transformation (性質変化, seishitsu henka). —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 19:16, January 7, 2011 (UTC)
So, basically there isn't a term for adv. natures. Then where does the term in the article come from? Seelentau 愛 19:23, January 7, 2011 (UTC)
Seems like it. The term we're using might simply be created by one of us in want of something more official. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 19:28, January 7, 2011 (UTC)
I think I remember hearing Orochimaru mentioning it. One it wasn't about advanced natures because it was his reaction to Sasuke's Chidori Sharp Spear, but the other was. Unfortunately, I think it was in the Three-Tails' arc, talking about Guren's Crystal Release, so it's not exactly canon. I also don't remember exactly where it was. New OVA's name

Does the newest OVA have some special name in Japanese, like the others have? Seelentau 愛 21:40, January 10, 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, the little video aired on the last Jump Festa, with a song, naruto and sasuke fighting, madara and kabuto and some other stuff. I know you know it, but appearantly don't think of it as an OVA. If it's not that, what is it? And what's the ****** title? :D Oh, and has the 五大 in 五大性質変化 to be translated as "Great Five" or "Elementalsomethingsomething"? Cause 五大 is, as you surely know, the japanese name for the five elements. In the german version it's translated as "Great Five", but I'm not sure if that's correct, since the natures ARE elements... Seelentau 愛 23:27, January 10, 2011 (UTC)
Okay, then what is the correct name just for the natures? It's 性質, right? But I don't see it mentioned in the Sha no Sho. They call it 五大変化 instead. But I'm sure that's wrong... btw, sorry for all the questions about japanese stuff, but I'm really curious about it, since I learn the language myself, too and work as a translator for our wiki. I hope you don't mind me asking you all this stuff^^ Seelentau 愛 00:31, January 11, 2011 (UTC)

Decapitating Carving Knife

Someone brought this up. According to this: [1], it's pronounced "Kubikiripōchō," seeing how the "ho" became a "po" due to it following the "ri." And also, are we moving the page to a Japanese name anytime soon? I think most people will agree if it's brought up on a page. --GoDai (talk) 04:01, January 13, 2011 (UTC)

Chapter 523 confused me. Is there anyway that Mangetsu's mention in Suigetsu's databook entry, the one that says that it was their dream to become Swordsmen and do missions was cut short by his death to possibly be interpreted as one brother becoming a Swordsmen and one not? A play of words or something that is left implied? Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 04:15, January 13, 2011 (UTC)

The actual raw might not be out yet, but the spoilers seem trustworthy enough. of course, nothing is truly confirmed until there's a raw.

New Swordsmen

  • Ameyuri Ringo (林檎雨由利, Ringo Ameyuri)
    • Ringo → appel.
    • Ame → rain; Yuri → advantage of reason, a common (generally female) name ending.
  • Kushimaru Kuriarare (栗霰串丸, Kuriarare Kushimaru)
    • Kushi → Japanese chestnut; Arare → hail.
    • Kushi → spite, skewer; Maru → circle, perfection, a common, male name ending.
  • Jinpachi Munashi (無梨甚八, Munashi Jinpachi)
    • Mu → nothing; Nashi → Japanese pear
    • Jin → tremendous, greatly; Pachi → eight, from hachi.
  • Fuguki Suikazan (西瓜山河豚鬼, Suikazan Fuguki)
    • Suika → watermelon; Zan → mountain, from san.
    • Fugu → pufferfish; Ki → oni, demon.
  • Jinin Akebino (通草野餌人, Akebino Jinin)
    • Akebi → chocolate vine; No → field, plains.
    • Ji → bait; Jin → person, human. If Jinin is written as 自刃, it means 'suicide by sword'.

  • Ensui Nara (奈良エンスイ, Nara Ensui)
    • Ensui → cone (円錐), salt water, brine (塩水), plumb-bob (鉛錘).
  • Santa Yamanaka (山中サンタ, Yamanaka Santa)
    • Santa → Santa Claus?
  • Aki (アキ, Aki) or Maki (マキ, Maki)
    • Aki → Autumn ()
    • Maki → roll [e.g. of cloth] ()

  • Cloth Binding Technique (布縛りの術, Menoshibari no Jutsu)

  • The Thunderswords (雷刀, Raitō), Kiba (, Fangs)
  • The Bluntsword (鈍刀, Dontō), Kabutowari (兜割, Helmet Splitter)
  • The Longsword (長刀, Chōtō), Nuibari (縫い針, Sewing Needle)
  • The Blastsword (爆刀, Bakutō), Shibuki (飛沫, Splash)
  • The Greatsword (大刀, Daitō), Samehada (鮫肌, Shark Skin)
  • The Seversword (断刀, Dantō), Kubikiribōchō (首斬り包丁, Decapitating Carving Knife)
  • Hiramekarei would probably be the Twin Swords (双刀, Sōtō).

It's Kubikiribōchō. I checked the previous mentions of the sword in the manga and databooks. Apparently it was just universally missed, as it has always been called this. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 16:11, January 15, 2011 (UTC)
But why isn't there a space between Kubikiri and Bouchou? Is there any rule about where to put spaces between romaji words? Seelentau 愛 16:49, January 15, 2011 (UTC)
No, there are no spaces. However, whenever rendaku happens, I never use a space. I see rendake as a sign something should be considered a single word, as sound changes wouldn't generally happen with separate words. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 16:59, January 15, 2011 (UTC)

Its just that from what Kakashi explained, he and Santa actually switched bodies. So i was wondering if something was lost in translation because that's not what we normally see the technique do.--Cerez365 (talk) 16:47, January 15, 2011 (UTC)

Some questions

1. Didn't the Jiraiya mention the name "Eye of the Hypnothism" in chapter 147, page 4? 2. How is in japanese "puppeteer", "sword" (the best name to put it into artcle), "scroll", "Scroll of Heaven", "Scroll of Earth", "flash bomb" and Forty-third Training Ground (chapter 45, page 8, on map)? 3. The place where Naruto and Jiraia have a rest when they were searching for Tsunade (see: Susuki, Momiji (Tanzaku) and Gantetsu (Iwagakure) aren't rather a Tanzaku?--LeafShinobi (talk) 21:30, January 25, 2011 (UTC)

2. So "kugutsuchi" means "puppet master"? And should in the article puppet be called "kugutsu"? And was the name given on the map for the Forty-Third Training Ground full like you wwrote it or shortened?

3. Wasn't the Shukuba Town rather a place where Naruto and Jiraiya met Itachi and Kisame?--LeafShinobi (talk) 19:19, January 26, 2011 (UTC)

"Kugutsushi" is in title of Puppet Masters!!. About "kugutsu" and "kugutsu ningyō" it was about switching "kugutsu" to "kugutsu ningyō" as rōmaji in Puppet article. Are you sure that town where they visited the festival were Tanzaku? When Jiraiya met Sōzu and Jantō he said that Tanzaku is near (about end of chapter 153). Also, i think Naruto and Jiraiya had to travel to Tanzaku.--LeafShinobi (talk) 22:01, January 26, 2011 (UTC)
Thanks. Goshiki for sure lived in Tanzaku, as he was guide in the castle.--LeafShinobi (talk) 22:26, January 26, 2011 (UTC)
I think that it may be a mistake or inconsistency. The town where fesitval was lied in a sort of hollow (see chapter 150, page 03), and Tanzaku rather don't (chapter 160, page 05). Also, Naruto and Jiraiya left the first town after Jiraiya lernt about Tsunade's presence in Tanzaku (chapter 155, page 02). In chapter 150, page 01 is some kanji on a table before a town, but it may be impossible to read them.--LeafShinobi (talk) 22:30, January 28, 2011 (UTC)
But you're sure that databook places these characters in Tanzaku?--LeafShinobi (talk) 12:59, January 29, 2011 (UTC)
Do all these townws lie in Land of Fire?--LeafShinobi (talk) 19:35, January 30, 2011 (UTC)
So is it wirth to put into their citizens ifoboxes "Land of Fire" affilation? And is Konoha Library (not Archive Library) worth to have its own article? And was the Hot Springs where Team kakashi had a rest during Sai and Sasuke Arc those in Konoha?--LeafShinobi (talk) 19:52, January 30, 2011 (UTC)
Were the women who visites this hot springs rather from Land of Fire (except Nae) or si it impssible to determine?--LeafShinobi (talk) 17:47, January 31, 2011 (UTC)

Mount Myōboku & Tailed Beasts

Did in the same chapter on page 08 Naruto tried to make Rasengan without clones? How were Four Legs Technique in their first usage against Naruto (chapter 75) and firsr usage of Fang passing Fang (chapter 76)?

How is "Formation B" in chapter 383, page 12? How were named ANBU teams in ch. 115, p. 03 and in ch. 421, p, 16?--LeafShinobi (talk) 21:13, January 30, 2011 (UTC)

Kyūbi in Kumo??

Do you think that Kinkaku and Ginkaku's relationship with the Kyūbi has something to do with Kushina been kidnapped by those Kumo shinobi?--KIWIBOλ (talk) 01:02, January 28, 2011 (UTC)

So do you think that they might have used the hair that she dropped to put the Kyūbi chakra within the couple?--KIWIBOλ (talk) 01:49, January 28, 2011 (UTC)
If they were as old as Danzo, 72, or older, then that would mean that they fought the Kyubi and died but traces of their chakra got mixed in with that of the Kyubi. But that's what I thought when I first read what Ao said. --KiumaruHamachi (talk) 18:35, January 28, 2011 (UTC)KiumaruHamachi
I doubt it's going to be something as simple as them having fought the Kyūbi at some point. They must have some sort of special connection with the Kyūbi, just like Naruto. They each have the whiskers, after all. I think their relationship with the Kyūbi might even predate Mito becoming the Kyūbi's jinchūriki. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 19:14, January 28, 2011 (UTC)
Are you saying this:
  • First Jinchuriki: Kinkaku or Ginkaku
  • Second Jinchuriki: Kinkaku or Ginkaku
  • Third Jinchuriki: Mito Uzumaki
  • Fourth Jinchuriki: Kushina Uzumaki
  • Fifth Jinchuriki: Naruto Uzumaki

Then if that is true, then what you're saying is that Kushina was wrong when she explaine dthe history of the 9 tails, her village, her background and about Naruto. Or she left out pieces so he wouldn't find out about the Kingin bros?KiumaruHamachi (talk) 19:24, January 28, 2011 (UTC) KiuamruHamachi

No, nothing quite so drastic. it wouldn't fit with the time line, either. Just after the founding of the villages, Mito became the jinchūriki, but Kinkaku and Ginkaku have to have alive until well after that. I simply think that in some way, they were influenced by the Kyūbi during a time it wasn't yet under Konoha's control. Either that, or something happened to Mito or Kushina that we weren't told. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 20:28, January 28, 2011 (UTC)

Kekkei Tōta

You know, despite the massive wrench it threw in how we see elemental combinations, I think Kekkei Tōta may have helped something to make more sense: the Lava Release situation. If Ōnoki is currently the only living shinobi to have it, it means that his descendants don't have Dust Release. They're not able to merge earth, wind, and fire, but they still got something. Kurotsuchi didn't inherit whatever gene is required to merge three elements, but she still has in her the genes that allow to blend earth and fire, making lava. This would explain why there are users with seemingly no relation with the same kekkei genkai, and possibly why Lava Release is written differently. The difference isn't about the element itself, but how it was acquired. Mei's is an inherited kekkei genkai, and Kurotsuchi's is a depreciation of the Dust Release kekkei tōta. What do you think? Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 00:16, January 29, 2011 (UTC)

And if you push it a bit, it could explain why there were rumors of the Sharingan descending from the Byakugan when Kakashi mentioned it. Rinnegan became nameless spiral dōjutsu, which further down the line became Byakugan and Sharigan, we just don't know which came first. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 01:32, January 29, 2011 (UTC)

Not only does Kurotsuchi have earth and fire, she has water, that could lead to a different Kekkei Tota probably inherited from Onoki. Not the same though. Amaterasu789 (talk) 22:31, February 25, 2011 (UTC)

Lightning Symbol

Strategy Planning Group

Alongside your other translations for Chapter 526, could you also please provide one for the Strategy Planning Group mentioned on page 14, as I'd like to create an article like those of the other Divisions of the Allied Shinobi Forces (i.e. Fourth Division). Blackstar1 (talk) 12:55, February 4, 2011 (UTC)

If that's the case, then it's likely just a mistake in mangastream's translation (which isn't that uncommon) but just to ensure that I haven't simply directed you to the wrong section, it's supposedly said in the bottom right frame here by a member of the Intelligence Division. Blackstar1 (talk) 17:42, February 4, 2011 (UTC)

Thanks again for the translation, but staying with the subject of translating mistakes, could you please take a look at the conversation between Kinkaku and Ginkaku at the end of this chapter as their appears to be some discrepancies. Mangastream translates Ginkaku's line as "this sure blows, eh Kinkaku? Getting pulled back by the dead-ass second Hokage's technique", where as another source instead states "This is being caught in the same technique of the second hokage that we defeated...isn’t it? Kinkaku". I don't really trust either enough to assert which one is correct, so I would really appreciate your help as this could finally resolve the issue concerning the brother's inclusion within the Kinkaku Force if the latter is true. Blackstar1 (talk) 20:39, February 4, 2011 (UTC)

Could you also see if Darui is referring to himself, or storm release, when he calls it slow?--Deva 27 (talk) 21:15, February 4, 2011 (UTC)

Also I was just curious...even though there is no sign of it in the series could you make a team icon for Taka? It's not a big deal or anything, but I think it would be a good decorative part on the wiki. Just something like a hawk's head or something. It's just an idea. Okami Wiki

Hey ShounenSuki, im an infrequent editor here at Narutopedia, I don't have many contributions at all but I've noticed your work. In particular I've noticed your knowledge in areas concerning Japanese language and culture. Im an admin over on the Ōkami Wiki. The Wiki is fairly small and we need all the help we can get. I don't know if you've ever played the game or if you're even into video games but much of Ōkami is based on Japanese legends/culture and none of our users speak Japanese so someone with your knowledge/skills would be a huge help.--Soul reaper (talk) 10:45, February 8, 2011 (UTC)

Chapter 527

Could you please provide a translation of the first and last two panels on page 5 of this chapter, which discuss the Second Hokage's fate and the use of the Treasured Tools of the Sage of the Six Paths in conjunction with the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox's chakra, as there appears to be a large amount of issues concerning these parts that I believe a more accurate translation could help. Blackstar1 (talk) 02:09, February 12, 2011 (UTC)

Thanks again, much appreciated as always, and I'd agree that the possible implication of the text combined with the respective images, one of which displays the brothers charging towards the Nine-Tails with Treasured Tools in hand, would confirm that they could indeed use the tools before they were consumed. Also, your translation seems to provide confirmation that the Second Hokage's confrontation with the brothers and his death where actually separate circumstances, meaning that when Ginkaku spoke of defeating Tobirama he was likely referencing the former, unfortunately opening up the issue of the brother's inclusion in the Kinkaku Force once again. Hopefully we'll get some definitive proof eventually but until then, I guess it's just a matter of personal opinion. Blackstar1 (talk) 20:55, February 12, 2011 (UTC)

Images you've added

I was browsing the images on you profile page, and there are two images that don't seem to exist: "Cursed Seal Sai.jpg" and "Hokage Danzō.png". Just wanted to let you know because it kind of ruins the look of your profile. ~ FmakckTalkContributions 23:43, February 12, 2011 (UTC)

Kanji with the fire radical

I was looking for kanji with the fire radical to see if something could spark an idea for the my theories, and I came across with 焱. I've seen it before, but there was nowhere I could potentially use it back then. Is there any significant difference between that and the one used in Blaze Release? Is it simply an even stronger flame? Now with something trickier, what exactly does 煈 mean? No dictionary or translator I can find has a translation or even a reading of this, though wiktionary shows no use of that in Japanese, only in Mandarin. The fact it's basically fire and wind kanji side by side might be something I can use in my theories. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 00:56, February 13, 2011 (UTC)

Kanji Translation

Sorry to bother you again, Suki-senpai, but I was wondering if you can translate the of this town in one of the Naruto episode. It's a town that appeared in the Land of Rice Paddies, you know in the filler arc? Here's the link. The sign sppears at 2:43.--NinjaSheik 20:02, February 13, 2011 (UTC)

Infobox image thingy

In the discussion on Torune's image you said that it was decided that if there was a decent anime image it should be used in the infobox and the manga image moved to another section of possible. Was that the new decision that was made or the already existing one? --Cerez (talk) 21:49, February 13, 2011 (UTC)

I just did part of the imagemap for the map of the naruto world, but I was wondering if you could clarify which of the islands are part of the land of water, and if anything is missing, wrong or could be improved. SimAnt 03:15, February 15, 2011 (UTC)

Re: Bot Problems

Sounds like an ugly bot still trying to extract the edit token from page text instead of using the api. Mifune's Status

I'm a little bit confused here...Is Mifune A General of the Land of Iron or THE General of the Land of Iron?..--KIWIBOλ (talk) 22:14, February 17, 2011 (UTC)

Because when I saw the manga, I understood that he was THE General, but the anime (probably a subtitle error) sugests he is A General of the Land of Iron...(I'm brazilian and I watched with portuguese subtitles)--KIWIBOλ (talk) 00:47, February 18, 2011 (UTC)
If it helps, the English subs also said he was "a general". Jacce | Talk | Contributions 07:10, February 18, 2011 (UTC)
The Japanese, lacking any sort of articles, does not clarify whether he is a general or the general. We don't have enough information on the organisation of the Land of iron to make an educated guess, either. At the moment, judging by his role in the war, it seems he has a similar status as the kage, though. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 09:00, February 18, 2011 (UTC)

help with translation

Hi, if you could find some time could you translate the two text bubbles in this picture? [3] Raws are out for about a week now and no one translated it yet... Naruto Bot

Did you create the bot? If you did, it seems like it's been very helpful. ~ Fmakck©TalkContributions ~ 21:30, February 18, 2011 (UTC)

which part contains false info? I'll be glad to fix it if you show me. ~ Fmakck©TalkContributions ~ 15:06, February 20, 2011 (UTC)

You know it's written in kanji, but uses katakana and has a slightly different pronunciation? Maybe it's intended to mean "Teru Mī (Tell Me)"? It fits her personality. --GoDai (talk) 20:24, February 20, 2011 (UTC)

Hmm, then should the pun be mentioned? I see that it says the kanji mean "shining beauty"... as in with the kanji for shining as in the one in Amaterasu and the kanji for beauty as in the kanji for the United States. --GoDai (talk) 23:56, February 21, 2011 (UTC)
Hmm did Kishimoto just recently begin doing the thing where people have kanji names but alternate pronunciations written in katakana (I think the pattern used to be somehing like kanji and hiragana clan/sir- names, and katakana first names)? I think was something similar too. And not too sure on the US kanji, but I think its the beauty kanji. It's like that in Korean and Chinese too, and we used to laugh at the irony, so it's pretty fresh in my mind. I may be wrong though. --GoDai (talk) 00:09, February 22, 2011 (UTC)

Thank you very much!! ^_^ a question: how can I create a page?

Hello shonen suki...

Hello shonen suki...

Since you're main guy here I wanted to ask you what is wrong with my edit about rikudo senin that I wrote this like,,there may be a chance that rikudo senin be brought to life by kabuto's impure world resurection to the fact that many strong ninjas were brought back from dead.I never said that he ,,will be brought back from dead I said that it ,,might be ,,chance do to situation in manga. Also what fact is that rikudo senin has armor like senju. We never saw his outfit so if thing like guessing that he has armor is fact why think like possibility that he be alive again tru impure world is not a fact?I mean kishi said that he is a priest, and what priest were a armor, and in picture on wich he sealed ten tails we see that there is no armor(I could not find that but Naruto manga 462Sasuke ninja way page 12 picture one on witch madara said,,myth imitates truth show that rikudo senin doesn't have armor). So why is everything what I write so wron I can't even discuss they delete everything what I write... Your truly YamatoTakeru (talk) 23:05, February 22, 2011 (UTC) P.s. you saw from our first talk about how senju and uchiha might be copy of iga and koga that I am not an idiot

Orochimaru's female body and Shin

What excactly said Orochimaru when Third Hokage asked him about number of bodies he used? And are we sure that this body belonged to woman? Also did during Sai and Shin's recent meeting during the war Shin's name was mentioned?--LeafShinobi (talk) 16:49, February 24, 2011 (UTC) Thanks. And I think Shin didn't mention Sai's name - this would be a mistake. Am I right?--LeafShinobi (talk) 21:15, February 24, 2011 (UTC)

Element Flow Chart

I would like to suggest the following additions to the chart: [Water + Earth + Lightning = Crystal (?)] [Fire + Water + Earth = Steel (?)] [Lightning + Wind = Swift (?)] Maybe you can come up with something for Dark Release, too. Diamonddeath (talk | contribs) 03:18, February 25, 2011 (UTC)

the pot's kanji

Do you know the meaning of the kanji/sign on the pot, by any chance? Seelentau 愛 16:41, February 26, 2011 (UTC)

Are you sure? It doesn't look like kaminari at all O_o Also, could you explain to me why you restart the episode counter with the first Shippuuden episode? Was it stated that Shippuuden is a completly new series anywhere? On the official site they count form 220 onwards and don't restart at all, but even the english wikipedia started a new counting, so I was wondering... Seelentau 愛 19:20, February 26, 2011 (UTC)

Have we officially switched to the British spelling of English words? ~ Fmakck©TalkContributions ~ 23:37, February 27, 2011 (UTC)

I currently have two possible candidates for a water/yin/yang combination. I'm concerned that they're not ideal because one feels too close to the actual water nature, not properly incorporating yin, and the other deviates too much from the combination. The one which feels too close is ocean. It's more than what I already have for yang/water, but I don't think it properly evokes yin. The other is blood. There is a connection with the three components, but I feel it to be a bit borderline, just barely working. Which do you think is more appropriate? Kanji For Locations

Look at the talkpage at Konohagakure. Can you give me us the translation for the location, please? I should get started on those pages, but I can't without the translations.--NinjaSheik 23:00, February 28, 2011 (UTC)

This is the Jōnin Station, could you translate this also? And I know it's cut off, but what about the kanji directly above it. Thanks in advance. ~ Fmakck©TalkContributions ~ 02:48, March 1, 2011 (UTC)
I'll answer here, then.
  1. Jōnin Standby Station (上忍待機所, Jōnin Taikijō).
  2. Shushuya (酒酒屋, Sake Sake Store).
  3. Amaguriama (甘栗甘, Sweet Chestnut Sweetness).
  4. Dango (Dumpling) shop? Where is this named?
  5. Yakiniku Q (焼肉Q, Yakiniku Kyū).
@Fmakck: The sign says "human life is varied" (人生色々, jinsei iroiro), a proverb referring to life having its ups and downs. The large kanji in the round sign is the kanji for up (, ue), short for jōnin (上忍).
ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 13:05, March 1, 2011 (UTC)

Thanks, Suki-senpai! Fma-kun posted an image of the Dango Shop on my talkpage. Here's is the anime image.

Are we still holding onto the idea of putting all of these on a single page, or are we going to let them have their own pages?

P.S: I'm in school right now, in lunch. I'll answer you back once I get home from school. Being fiftheen is troublesome.

EDIT: Okay, I'm home. So, you can get that sign translated, Suki-senpai?--NinjaSheik 17:12, March 1, 2011 (UTC)

The sign only says dango (だんご). —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 23:42, March 1, 2011 (UTC)

All right, then we just title it the Dango Shop. What's the kanji for "shop"?--NinjaSheik 23:44, March 1, 2011 (UTC)

The second databook apparently has an entry for the Dango Shop. It is still just called Dango Shop (だんご屋, Dangoya), though. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 08:14, March 2, 2011 (UTC)
