I hate to bother you, but can you translate this for me, please?NinjaSheik 19:18, May 1, 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, sure! No problem. Thanks, senpai!

EDIT: Can you also try and translate this one page, too? It's at the bottom, and it's one page. It's pretty small, so if you can't translate it, then it's okay.--NinjaSheik 20:32, May 1, 2011 (UTC)

Hi, Suki-senpai! Sorry to bother you right now, but it's been three weeks since I asked you for the favor. Were you able to get them translated yet?--NinjaSheik 20:13, May 20, 2011 (UTC)

Okay, I understand! I'm taking exams this week, too. Tomorrow's my last day, and I can wait. I have plenty of things to do. Thanks, Suki-senpai!--NinjaSheik 20:27, May 24, 2011 (UTC)

Hey, Suki-senpai! The weekend is over now! Do you have time to translate the doujinshi and that page from the link now?--NinjaSheik 20:36, May 31, 2011 (UTC)

Okay! The doujinshi isn't that small, I think, but the little page in the another link is. If you can't translate it, then that's fine. I really just want the doujinshi. Thanks, Suki-senpai!--NinjaSheik 20:55, May 31, 2011 (UTC)

Hiya, Suki-senpai! It's been nearly two weeks! Were you able to get the translation done?--NinjaSheik 16:57, June 8, 2011 (UTC)

No. I only found about that doujinshi from a forum I read. I don't there's any other quality out there. It's okay, Suki-senpai. Thanks for trying. But if you were able to get some of them translted, can you still give them to me?--NinjaSheik 18:26, June 9, 2011 (UTC)

Gaara vs. Deidara Again

Could you check what exactly said Deidara about mixing Gaara's sand with his clay in anime ("Shippūden 6, time about 06:50)??--LeafShinobi (talk) 20:47, May 27, 2011 (UTC)

Thanks. Could you also check what Chiyo said in anime about Hiruko's background ("Shippūden" 20, time about 05:40)--LeafShinobi (talk) 12:45, May 31, 2011 (UTC)

Anyway, why do you in your answer wrote "Exploding Clay" as "Jibaku Nendo" instead of "Kibaku Nendo"?--LeafShinobi (talk) 12:48, May 31, 2011 (UTC)

Parasite clone

Karura and Gaara

Yo ShounenSuki! Some friends of mine - well, not actually friends, but guys on the German Narutopedia - say, that Gaara's got his absolute protection-sand-thing (I mean that the sand is protecting him all the time) from his mother and not from Shukaku, as I always thought. They say this is said in chapter 130 or 131. Could you please do me the favor to re-read those chapters and look out for anything, that is said about the self protecting sand-matter? And as always, thanks in advance :) Seelentau 愛 20:50, May 28, 2011 (UTC)

Thanks again! And, before I go, could you take a look on this please and maybe explain to me, why you drop such things? I once saw a discussion, in which you said that you drop the Ninpou, too. Why is that so? Seelentau 愛 11:26, May 31, 2011 (UTC)

Madara's rank in Akatsuki

Now that Akatsuki is only on Madara and Zetsu and maybe Kabuto I was wondering does Madar have any rank like general or commander or so or his army is just some kind of terrorist army? Also did Kishi copied Georges Lucas trick with clone army on Zetsu army? And one more thing what's Kishimoto's favourite book?(maybe Traveling to West it is written he took many caracters desighn from it)...YamatoTakeru (talk) 01:46, May 29, 2011 (UTC)

Arthurian? I hearded it Chines novel, and by Arthurian you mean period of king Artur(if he was real historical figure)...So how chinese novel can be arthurian? Is it the period around 5 century AD...

Oh really. Well it doesn't matter. I realize now that spending time asking stupid questions about kishimoto or any another stupid questions or discusion isn't so important. Like who gives the damn what madara rank is or what kishi reads or anything I alone can't see trow reading manga and watching anime...

Glass, Power and Entropy

After looking up more, I found out some more possible combinations. Most of the times I found glass, I saw it as ガラス (Garasu), but I also stumbled on 玻璃 (Hari). I see that the first is way more common, so I'm curious on why exactly the first one isn't more common. Is it a narrower term? Would the Release name be 玻遁 (Haton) or 璃遁 (Riton)? Next is power. I know the simplest form is 力 (chikara), but I also found 動力 (dōriki? dōryoku?). I've seen it translated both as power and power transmission. If used in a Release, would it be Rikiton or Ryokuton? And for the one I'm least faithful on, entropy. There is one kanji I found for it (熵), but as far as I can tell, it's not used in Japanese, only in Chinese, much like that kanji I showed you months ago which was the fire and wind kanji together. Is this really the case, or is it used in some cases, like the kanji you gave me for mercury? Thanks in advance. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 19:17, May 29, 2011 (UTC)

Entropy has to do with the energy and degree of organization in a system. It kinda does relate to chaos, but using chaos would depart too much for my intended combination to work here. I wanted to use something for entropy because the only thing I could find that makes a bit of sense when putting fire, lightning, and water together was the Thermo-dielectric effect. Production of currents and charges (relates to lightning) during phase transition (involves fire as heat, and water which is commonly associated with states of matter). Any ideas on a combo for that? Glass became a reliable option for lightning/earth/wind when I discovered it's not actually crystalline, and power as the physics thing is the best I got for fire/lightning/yin. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 01:31, May 30, 2011 (UTC)
You mean shiranui (不知火)? I see the connection with fire, and a bit with lightning after digging up a possible explanation of how they happen, but I still don't see much of a water connection. The strongest water connection I see is that it occurs on marshes. There's still more of a connection with wind (the ignited gases), and earth, through the explanation which involves the charges being created from minerals in the soil. Hiruko- Epsiode 20

From a while back we've had an issue with Hiruko's back story in the anime and I all but forgot about it. Anyway, I was wondering if you could watch episode 20 of Shippūden and listen to the part where Chiyo is talking about Hiruko and whether or not she says he's a shinobi from Sunagakure (right at 4:28) because we're have conflicting subtitles one says he's from the village and another just says he's a shinobi.--Cerez365 Hyūga Symbol 18:27, May 31, 2011 (UTC).

I know abouth thzat myth Zeus had headache he said his son Hefestos the blacsmith of gods to crack his head and from his toughs came athen the godesss of war.As conserning what I am doing on net I only watch naruto anime and manga...Just next time no internet slleng form me...And I don't think that even children in japan would like it if some naruto caracter had mpreg...Seriously naruto manga is priory for children than for adults, I know there is no law in japan what kids can and what can not watch but male pregnancy I don't think so it is confusing for minors and naruto is first for minors and than for us of 21, 22 years old ad more... Yeah you mean hermaphrodites, coprophiles, japanese wierd octopus sex, sex with animals etc etc...Those are not normal things its pervert things.Nobody normal do that so it is not reality because two of these mentioned things are not real in 90 percent and one is fiction..You said it on purpos aren't you...I should check the rules seeing if there is some rule alowing on wiki that is about manga writing about something that is not manga especialy about paraphilia...And snaff is ilegal because it is killing of inocent womens from third world who was tricked into better life on west and than their torturor make them be killed in front of a camera...One way another the world is turning into Roman empire in witch are paraticed pervert things...I sugest that we delete everithing we wrote because when another narutopedia members see what we had disused they would not see us like before... All your talk reminds me on a Budah joke. Wanna here? What does Budah do when he go to doctor? I don't know I just wanted to pay you for that list of modern world's fetish.By the way I am not naive I just had unlucky to had complications in life wich had broth me my Opsesive compulsive disorder.I know for all those things and they are discusting. And don't rewrite something I deleted from my talking page...I don't think I should be the only one on this wiki on wich page should be discused abouth futanari and sex fetish based on dreem of 15 century fisherman wife from japan..Anyway internet is not my life and I live in country where 90 percent people doesn't know english and don't use computer so I don't meet with the people on the street who talks about futanaris or snaff. We had back home only one movie discusing snaff theme and it was very bad judged...That list is showing in what apocalyptic world we live not because of end of world but for loosing moral valuties.Normal sex was once tabu teme. And one sugestion if you wan't to keep being administrator who is respected don't mention that kind of stuff and don't use fire on fire technique... I my culture doesn't exsist those things because we were slaves for many centurys...You said reality are those things...Well I would just say those things are fiction of leisured rich people like were romans many centurys ago(emperor caligula ripped his pregnant wife stomach and ate his unborn child). When somebody works like an ant he doesn't have need to think of such stupid things...Your right reality is much more worse for exsampel a war in war respected police officer go to do his duty to protect his country from terorists, they capture him break every bone in his body and send him back to his wife and son dead and tell them if they go and be witnes on court they will kill them, and world call those terorists freedom fighter and that police oficer who died he is called a corupted cop.And nobody care how that women feel and her son...Those terorist are just like akatsuki no moral valuties and I respect kishimoto sama because even if his depiction in naruto world is little naive it is more realistic than depiction of the world in some american movies like ,,Legal blonde, but we are moving the subject...So terorism, traison, killing people close to you, unhuman experiments, mercenaris doing dirty work for big players(like in Onokis case), kidnapping, veapons of mass distructions, torturing, spying, everything that was detailed explained in Naruto and kishimoto has given us his critique on this world...Soprry for this long writings but I like writting long because I had read writers like Tolstoi and Victor Hugo and in my nature is to argue with everybody who I find enoug informed and educated. You are one step ahead of me maybe even more I admited but belive me I am not so close behind...We could go like this until judgment day... (talk) 10:36, June 2, 2011 (UTC) I really like mental duels, when the swords of opinions are crossed.Look around you have I talked with anybody more than you.Why because you're the administrator the top guy...You have to have something if you made there for such little time.I on another had don't care if I ever mad anywere. For me Naruto is just another unfinished bysness and when the last picture of last manga apeare I will go from here and will not turn my back.I have my own goal why I am reading this manga.Call it some kind of test...By the way I didn't tought you are 27 years old, that mean you're some half of decade older than me...

Sasuke and Naruto distance relatives

Sages two sons were brothers so Uchiha and Senju are realtives and Uzumaki and Senju are relatives...By the way is it not there a dangerous when two relatives married even if they are distance like Harshirama and Mito...Didn't kish wanted to pump sakuras role as bad heroine(wich he had admited but can't do notinh now) with Mito and Kushina... I noticed you translated all the necessary databooks, do you own the actual books or did you just look at the online scanned ones? Because an official source

Matter and Vacuums

Not to bug you anymore on the subject. But I thought up a diagram[1] to better illustrate what I meant by how I pictured Kuushou(how do you type the "u" and/or "o" with the dash over them, anyway? ><)'s formation with a vacuum and pressurized air, since I was failing to describe what I meant with words. Oh..and it made me realize something as I was drawing it up(on MSPaint, no less.. >.<), a vacuum can exist when there's matter in the area, as long as the matter stays in a confined area of said vacuum. Outer Space is proof of that. ^^ --Alexdhamp (talk) 05:23, June 5, 2011 (UTC)

I know that's not how an air compressor works, that was more how I imagined Kuushou working when I first read you're translation of the databook entry. Though, I think it could have something to do with how the anime portrayed the technique's it showed Neji forming a kind of vacuum in his palm before he "shot" it off at Kisame. Though, your explanation of an air compressor's mechanisms did clarify some things for me(like how it stored that compressed air without it being unpressurized). ^^

And your right about the vacuum being lesser as matter was introduced, even if it was compressed into a small point, the vacuum would still be that much weaker. Space is a vacuum because of how nothing exists between the different planetoid bodies and stars..that same condition could be replicated on Earth given a confined space that a vacuum could be created inside. The difference would be the magnitude; as Space is infinite but that confined vacuum wouldn't be, making a much weaker vacuum, as you said, when matter is introduced. --Alexdhamp (talk) 22:11, June 5, 2011 (UTC)

That sounds about right..and it even helped me understand now what I think Kishi meant. I picture, now, that the force of the palm thrust and the concentrated chakra released would create a vacuum(which goes with how you said Kishi words it in a way the implies the vacuum is created by pressure) pocket that would trail behind the attack as it flies toward it's target. So, when the Kūshō impacts the user's intended victim, the "vacuum shell" or pocket crashes forcefully into him/her immediately afterward. Does this sound about right with what Kishi wrote?--Alexdhamp (talk) 02:01, June 10, 2011 (UTC)
Cool. Thanks for helping me clear my misunderstanding about it and sorry for bugging you so much on said subject. ^^ --Alexdhamp (talk) 02:01, June 10, 2011 (UTC)

Hinata's game(Naruto Accel) ougi

Hey, Shounen. I was wondering if you'd do a quick translation of this ougi(second technique shown) from the Naruto Accel 2 game for me, please? Best I could come up with was "Empty Sky", "Empty Heaven/s", or "Divine Sky". Though, I'm also wondering if the game developers named it with "racing" in mind as I know that's what "kuuten" usually means and the technique seems to bring that idea to mind with how it's presented. >< --Alexdhamp (talk) 01:48, June 10, 2011 (UTC)

Ah. I had thought about the Kaiten connection, but I wasn't sure as the only similarities to me were the "ten"(Heaven/Sky, not the number) kanji and the fact that spinning of both Hinata and the chakra were shown. Thanks for the translation, Shounen. --Alexdhamp (talk) 17:15, June 12, 2011 (UTC)

Kagekubi Shibari

First, I want to thank you for the explanation. Really, I'm utterly grateful that you answer all my questions. If I can return the favor in any way, please let me know :) But again I also have to ask you for something, this time a translation of the Kagekubi Shibari no Jutsu on page 203 of the Tō no Sho. It says something about physical power that is in the shadow. Maybe it could give us a hint about what kind of chakra the Nara clan's using. Thanks in advance :) Seelentau 愛 14:41, June 10, 2011 (UTC)

Also, could you check this video for Kabutos Jutsu? I think the first one is missing an article here. The name's something like チャクラの解剖刀•惨, but 剖 is written as メス and I don't know if the Jutsu's name is Chak(u)ra no Kaibōtō: Zan or Chak(u)ra no Kai Mes(u)tō: Zan. Maybe it would be of help if you (or any other user) could check the uploader's videos for more Jutsu. Seelentau 愛 02:05, June 11, 2011 (UTC)
Aaaaaalso, I suggest you to check my recent contributions, cause I edited some pages etc. and you're perhaps the only one who can confirm those changes (and answer the questions I asked^^). But take your time with it :) Seelentau 愛 20:55, June 11, 2011 (UTC)
  1. So there is no reference to In/Yin and Yō/Yang in that text... hm...
  2. So the techniques name would be Chakra no Mes: Zan?
  3. Because the u in Jouro isn't part of the first Kanji, but in the second, am I correct? Is this case the only one? Or does it occure in other Jutsu names? Seelentau 愛 23:13, June 11, 2011 (UTC)
  1. Ah, okay. I confused myself. So to sum up: Shikamaru (probably) uses Yin-Chakra (which governs form), because the Jutsu text hints that and Shikamaru said that Tayuyas way of fighting mostly with Yin-Chakra resembles his own style. Am I correct?
  2. You don't seem to like the way I'd write the name, huh?^^ Why that? From what I learned, it is the correct way to translate Japanese Kana in our writing system and Chakura etc. is wrong, since it just shows how to pronounce the word.
  3. kk. Thanks again for everything :]
Seelentau 愛 23:46, June 11, 2011 (UTC)
  1. Nope, Yang governs vitality. :)
  2. I do it that way, because otherwise I would write what I speak. And that's wrong, isn't it? You don't write tschair, just because you pronounce chair like that. Also, the Japanese just write Chakura and not Chakra, because they don't have a Kana for k and since they don't pronounce the u, they can use ku instead. Don't get me wrong, I know you've far more experience than me and I greatly respect that, but I think this is the one (and probably only) time I don't like to listen to your knowledge and rather do it my way^^"
Seelentau 愛 00:02, June 12, 2011 (UTC)
  1. Yes. And Tayuyas ghosts are Inton, because they lack the physical energy/Yang, and Shikamarus Jutsu probably too, because the Jutsu text implies that and he said it himself, too.
  2. In my system, Rōmaji shows how the Japanese pronounce a word, Kanji and Kana show how the Japanese write a word, the 'translation' shows our way to write that word and German translates it. Therefor, we use this pattern in our articles: "Translation" (Kanji/Kana Rōmaji, "German"). For example, Harem no Jutsu (ハーレムの術 Hāremu no Jutsu, "Technik des Harems"). We settled on this system because we don't use German translations as article names like you with English, but the Japanese name. Seelentau 愛 01:02, June 12, 2011 (UTC)
  1. That's what I'm thinking, too. In the end, we're just running in circles until we get some official explanation.
  2. That's difficult... I dunno, to be honest, but I think I ignore the origin of the words. So no Chinese and Dutch and all. Seelentau 愛 02:04, June 12, 2011 (UTC)
  1. Yeah, I understand. I should be using 'haram' and not 'harem', right? But why do the Japanese write it as ハーレム and not ハーラム, then? Because they use the English word for it and not the true arabic one, right? I go with that. When they use an English word as a basic, I'll use it too. When they use a Dutch word, I'll use that Dutch word too and not the words those words are based on. Because that way, it would just turn out to be ridiculous and no one would understand what I mean. Kage Uni Shibari?

Yo! Only a little favor this time: Could you tell me what the second Kanji on this image means? The one beneath 影 Kage, please. And also, why are the Jūkenpō Jutsu Kekkei Genkai, but not Dōjutsu? Shouldn't they be Hiden only? Seelentau 愛 19:24, June 13, 2011 (UTC)

  1. Would you translate the Kanji as Demon? Because I saw that it could have the meaning Catcher, which would just fit, wouldn't it?
  2. So the Hyūga have two Kekkei Genkai or what? Oo
Seelentau 愛 20:30, June 13, 2011 (UTC)
  1. (a German translation page I rely on) translated it as Fänger beim Spielen which means Catcher in games (like baseball or so, I guess). And since Shikamaru's catching the enemy...
  2. Well, that's completely new to me ô__o When was that said? I always thought the Byakugan is their Kekkei Genkai, which enables them to learn all the Jūken Jutsu, which are Hiden.
  3. Another issue: Jiraiya mentioned the term 妖魔 Yōma in chapter 143 while talking to Kakashi about Naruto and Kyūbi. It's on page 7, but the translation I read is a bit sluggish, so I dunno if Jiraiya uses the term for all Bijū or for the Demon Fox only. Could you do me the favor to re-read that part and enlighten me, please? :)
Seelentau 愛 21:41, June 13, 2011 (UTC)
  1. But it's still catching, right? And that would fit, at least more than oni. Also, here's a video with that Jutsu, it starts around minute 2:02.
  2. Then why isn't it mentioned here? Or anywhere else besides the manga?
  3. So it's not a term like Chakra no Bakemono at all?
Seelentau 愛 23:36, June 13, 2011 (UTC)
Butting in. In the suggestions links from that video, there's a version without background music, meaning you get to hear what the characters are saying. By user MSharingan, there are three videos. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 23:44, June 13, 2011 (UTC)

Well you don't know what you missing...Beside there is much more women on planet earth than a man...So I am not going to let my fun go away...I sugest to you to find some nice Duch girl maybe 19 since your 27 its 8 years difference...It's never late for going out in town center at some wlaking path buy some beer and just watching girls wlaking...The best time is summer because then all those girls take their clothes off and go in bikini...It's too bad that in Holand is allways raining, maybe you should move to Spain but than again it is best at home who knows maybe there is Carlos the Jackal copycat on loose...Hey have you ever watche movie called jerry and tom its hilarious, with killing and all... I know you live in Netherland but in some language Holand is diferent way to say Netherland.Anyway if you are really gay I don't give a dam your problem youre old enough to think about yourself...Alcohol well I don't dring also but not because I don't like but because on medical basis...Beside you doesn't have to be ortodox gay liking only men you can be bisexual try women for instance they having much more nicer voice than man... (talk) 14:23, June 15, 2011 (UTC)
  1. In some languages, yes. English isn't one of them. 'Holland' only refers to two of the twelve provinces of the Netherlands. I live in neither of them.
  2. I actually prefer hearing men talk than hearing women talk. Being homo- or heterosexual has little to do with liking certain aspects of a certain gender or trying them out. It's about sexual and romantic attraction, neither of which I have towards the female gender in any significant way. That doesn't mean I don't 'like' women; most of my friends are female. I just don't want to shag them.
  3. How is being homosexual in any way a problem? At absolutely no point in my life has my homosexuality caused me even the slightest bit of inconvenience. If anything, it is you who seems to be having a problem with it.
ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 16:08, June 15, 2011 (UTC)

Well what can I say I have a bit of homophopbia...Not that I am afraid of gays because I know nobody in real world can do anything or make me do anything because I am 2 m tall and weight over 100kg and usually when I fight with somebody I use my head(like to punch enemy with my head in nose) or bite they ears..Beside I don't atract gays because I am ugly like monster have big stomach loosing my hair I weare glasses and I am very stiff in my wlaking and hands moving like I am a robot. Seems if Hinata would be a real girl she would not fall on me...But what the heck there is manny girls out there who like crippled people like me or at least like people who have expensive cars and big apartments and work in good payed pharmacutical company... (talk) 17:41, June 15, 2011 (UTC)

We have gone from the subject...One very importan thing abouth Japan and its people. In concious of Japanese is planted idea long ago that they can do everything with will power and keep trying. That was one of their philosophy during WW2. Americans were impresed how Japan is going and pushing trow. When the war ended Japan was at the worse stage any country could be. But today 60 years afther they manged to become secon or third world economy. Why because of their belives. They conquered America with their manga and anime. Every teenager girl and boy who like to think rather to just sit and watch stupid brainwashing cartoons like manga because they reflect the reality, no superheros, no stupid lines and stereotypes from Holiwood etc etc. Just life that is painful and bloody...Nobody gets easy...That will not to give up is very strong in Hinata and Naruto and most of caracters...Life sucks and people needs hope that is what I get from reading this manga... Then I'll just rephrase it to (anime) and it doesent matter what I said about Naruto I was just using him as an example, think Im stupid I know there are other characters with that hair style.

I noticed that there are quite some chapters with titles as "(character's name) no Ketsui". Even though all of them have the same kanji for ketsui, in some of them, you translated it as "decision" (for Sakura and Tsunade), and for others you translated it as "determination". It doesn't seem to be one of those chapters with furigana that don't match the kanji, because you list the explanation for those. Why is it? Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 22:51, June 15, 2011 (UTC)

Volumes and chapters' names

Should be in every volume and chapter's name in kanji name "!" changed to "!", "..." to "…", "?" to "?" and every "vs" or "VS" to "Bāsasu" (I've noted that in chapter's 497 title you wrote "Bāsesu"). I also changed some mistakes in your translations, maybe you shuld check this.--LeafShinobi (talk) 17:00, June 16, 2011 (UTC) And also, why yuo reverted Fmakck's edit in your translations?--LeafShinobi (talk) 18:08, June 16, 2011 (UTC)

So should change punctuation marks in titles of volumes and chapters for consistency. Anyway, why did you title one of the chapters "Kakashi's EXP" instead of "Kakashis Experience"?--LeafShinobi (talk) 18:35, June 16, 2011 (UTC)
So should me moved chapter to "Kakashi's EXP"?--LeafShinobi (talk) 18:55, June 16, 2011 (UTC)
OK, thanks.--LeafShinobi (talk) 19:54, June 17, 2011 (UTC)

Are you sure that Japanese title of volume 1 in your translations is written correctly? Shouldn't it has exclamation marks?--LeafShinobi (talk) 20:28, June 17, 2011 (UTC)

I have aquestion. In your translations in titles you capitalise "Han" in names of teams (for example "Asuma-Han"), but should be it done in teams' articles? Anyway, should the punctuation marks in episodes names be changed like in chapters names (for exapmle "!" to "!")?--LeafShinobi (talk) 15:15, June 18, 2011 (UTC)

Should the title of volume 12 have exclamation marks? Fmakck (Images | contribs) 15:23, June 18, 2011 (UTC)

  1. I see 'han', when part of the name of a team, as a proper noun and thus capitalise it. Just like I capitalise every word in 'Ansatsu Senjutsu Tokushu Butai'. I don't see why it shouldn't be capitalised everywhere. We also capitalise 'team' in team names, don't we?
  2. Yes, for consistency's sake, I believe all instances of '!' and '?' should be changed to '!' and '?'. I don't think it's that big a deal, though, so it doesn't have to have top priority. I'm still trying to figure out how to use a bot for this switch, though.
  3. Volume 12 should have two exclamation marks in its title.

Should be the same done with "tai" (for example "kakashi-Tai" as asecondary name of Team Minato)? Anyway, you also capitalise in titles "baa", but Should "baa" and "jii" be capitalised in other cases?--LeafShinobi (talk) 16:30, June 18, 2011 (UTC) And about punctuation: ":" or ":"?--LeafShinobi (talk) 21:27, June 18, 2011 (UTC)

Hokage's Residence

I'm kinda confused :s Is it that the image is wrong or the place that we've thought is the "Hokage's Residence" isn't that place?--Cerez365 Hyūga Symbol 19:55, June 16, 2011 (UTC)

The academy has never had the Kanji of Fire placed on it. So the image should stay. --Ilnarutoanime 20:06, June 16, 2011 (UTC)
Take a look at these two images. Both are from the First Fanbook. The first shows the locations of the Academy and the Hokage residence within Konoha. You can clearly see the label with "Academy" (忍者学校) pointing towards the building with the large pillars and the 'Fire' symbol on it, whereas the label with "Hokage Residence" (火影の家) point to a rather unadorned building with the kanji for 'fire' painted on it.
The second image also shows this. The section about the Academy includes an image of the building with the pillars and the symbol, whereas the small section about the Hokage residence has an image of the unadorned building with the painted kanji. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 20:47, June 16, 2011 (UTC)
Ohhhh ok but that simply means that they used the Acadmy design for the Hokage Residence's design, because i definitely don't remember there ever being a building with the "fire" kanji painted on top orrr that the Hokage's office is in the Academy building? :s. Ah the headache...--Cerez365 Hyūga Symbol 21:08, June 16, 2011 (UTC)
I'd actually say that the Hokage's office is in the same building as the Academy. After all, it seems that is also where the Jōnin Standby Station and the Mission Assignment Desk are.
So what should we do? --Ilnarutoanime 12:02, June 17, 2011 (UTC)
It's basically sorted. But, Shounen could you give me the page numbers for those two images you uploaded so I can reference them in the article(s) por favor?--Cerez365 Hyūga Symbol 14:35, June 17, 2011 (UTC)
The map image is from page 21 and the other image from page 22 of the First Fanbook. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 19:46, June 17, 2011 (UTC)

Hey, Suki-senpai. About the Hokage Residence/Ninja Academy switched thing... I was browsing through my Anime Profiles the other night, and I know what the fanbook said about where is the Hokage Residence and Ninja Academy, but the Anime profiles list that the picture of the red mansion, the Hokage Residence, describes it as the "Hokage's House", not the Ninja Academy. Anime profiles count as official releases, too, don't they? So, it makes me think that the picture of the Hokage's House, the red mansion, should be transferred back to its original location. I don't know what to do, with all of these contradictions, so I came to you for a solution. What do you think we should do?--NinjaSheik 18:16, June 19, 2011 (UTC)

Could you perhaps upload an image of that? Just so we can get all the information straight? —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 20:09, June 19, 2011 (UTC)
That would be impossible for me. I don't have scaner or a camera, so I can't upload an image. The best I can do is just put up a reference for the Residence and the Academy. I'm positive the red mansion is the Hokage Residence.--NinjaSheik 20:12, June 19, 2011 (UTC)
Damn... What building exactly do you mean with the "red building"? —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 21:00, June 19, 2011 (UTC)
The Hokage Resdence, the buliding colored red with a kanji sign for "fire" and the pillars on the roof.--NinjaSheik 21:03, June 19, 2011 (UTC)
>< In other words, the building that houses the Academy and such in the manga. Why did the anime have to mess this up? —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 21:23, June 19, 2011 (UTC)
Beats the heck outta me. What should we do about it?--NinjaSheik 21:25, June 19, 2011 (UTC)
Bring it up on the talk page or simply make it a trivia point? —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 21:54, June 19, 2011 (UTC)

Since several volume titles are also the name of chapters, I'm not allowed to move the volume articles because "a page of that name already exists". If I add the first option, a lot of redirects need to be deleted to make way for moves. Fmakck (Images | contribs) 14:28, June 18, 2011 (UTC)

Head ninja of Kumogakure

I think tha Kishimoto didn't intended to make Gashira to be from Kumogakure at begining. First in manga during retrospective of him and in databook he was mentioned as head ninja of cloud country, second his flatjacket doesn't resemble of kumogakure white flat jacket. Now there was the teory that kumogakure maybe changed flatjacket during the time but kushina's kiddnapers and second raikage and both gin kin brothers show that there was no change in kumogakure uniform. Also his forheadprotector is not white color or ribbon. Maybe kishimoto didn't even tought of kumogakure at that poin working on chapter 102. Maybe he just saw how stupid is that konoha was in war with certan cloudcountry adn having fear of war whit them if they are not one of five great nations, and konoha is, and he just corected from cloud country to cloud village of land of lightning...I don't know maybe there was some erors in translation not so sure...Also I doub you're gay because Jadzia Dax is a girl and I am sorry because I know how you felt for what happened to her...YamatoTakeru (talk) 21:04, June 20, 2011 (UTC)

It's pretty obvious that Kishimoto hadn't yet developed the concept of different villages following certain motifs. It's a small error not really worth much notice to be honest. If the Head Shinobi of Kumogakure was that important that this kind of error would make a difference, I'm sure there would be something to note. I assure you, he is from the Land of Lightning's hidden village Kumogakure.--Hohenheim ☯ Talk ☯ 22:10, June 20, 2011 (UTC)

Well big beasts in showbiz world like Kishimoto are alowed due to their status of God to make that kind of mistakes...Lets be realistic the guy admited that story is a mess...But as usually as it is in life we are not avare of thing we make. Naruto is the best there is and Kishi will never have so much fame as he had on Naruto. As it concerns me the story is preety good maybe the best. He fited every little detail from wars to Rikudo senin and beasts etc etc...By the way that Siddig El Tahir El Fadil El Siddig Abderrahman Mohammed Ahmed Abdel Karim El Mahdi doesn't look familiar to me, maybe I never watched DS9, I only saw part with that bold guy, who also plays in some historical drama abouth Richard the Second...Gues here doesn't happens much doesn't it... Waterfall Basin Technique

I'm going through the Japanese wikipedia list for Naruto jutsu, to see if there's something we can use. I already ran into some useful information. So far, the only thing I didn't change completely based on what I saw was Water Release: Water Sky Convergence (which would also benefit from a look), but the main reason I'm asking this is Yamato's Water Release: Waterfall Basin Technique. In your translations, you used 壺. In the Japanese wikipedia, they used 壷. I see that the kanji are very similar. Was one the first one used in the chapter and the second in the databook entry, or did they make a mistake? Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 02:41, June 21, 2011 (UTC)

Hi :) What would you translate 扇舞降ろし as? It should be Fan Dance.... I don't get the Oroshi-part, though. Seelentau 愛 16:50, June 26, 2011 (UTC)

This wiki describes it as Temari summons Kamatari then Kamatari spins with the scythe it hits the opponent into a giant rock and the giant rock slices up in 1 hit then avalanches on the opponent. Also, the German wiki has this and this picture. Plus, I translated it as Fallwind, which means Katabatic wind in English. I hope that's enough for you, cause I couldn't find a video of that Jutsu.^^ Seelentau 愛 00:32, June 27, 2011 (UTC)

Found it

So, after a long time, I finally was able to find the kanji for Unparalleled Great Wind Formation. For a long time, I never had an idea of what the "gō" could be, and then I remembered one of the oldest techniques of the series, Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique. I googled the kanji you proposed in the talk page long ago, replacing the one you suggested for this sound for the one in Great Fireball, and there it was. In white against a red background, near the box by Sasuke's knee. I don't think it gets any more official than that. Most results that turned up were in Chinese, but there were some in Japanese as well. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 22:27, June 26, 2011 (UTC)

And searching the one you suggested turned up way more results, though for a different Naruto game it seems. I'm confused now. Are there two techniques? Did they change names between games? Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 22:42, June 26, 2011 (UTC)

I'm confused...

I've looked at your map of the Naruto World. The old map had whirlpool being in the same place as Wave. The map you made of Wave Country seemed to correspond with this picture. I'm curious as to why you changed your mind in regards to the placement of the Former Land of Whirlpools. What prompted this? It's not a critical issue, but I am curious as to why you decided to make this change. Could you explain your reasoning?
