Re: Korra

I like the fact we're getting a continuation, but from what I know so far, I don't find it particularly interesting. Someone trying to make a spirit portal into an amusement park? Too stupid to be interesting. I don't mind the Korrasami we're supposed to get, but only as far as it can exist without sucking all of the plot, as romantic plots tend to do, and without being contrived. So much of the romantic plots done in LoK felt forced for drama's sake. I also dislike the fact Bolin joined the police force. From day one, one of his defining characteristics was he felt overshadowed by Mako, so it feels out of character that he would jump into a situation like that. Let Bolin do his own thing. About North and South, a bit too table-setting to me, not enough actual stuff going down. And Katara is being annoying. Her complaining about northern architecture and the fact her village is now a proper city go directly against her being excited about such things before. It's like she has to have a contrary opinion about stuff, even if it's something she supported before. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 17:29, October 23, 2016 (UTC)

Yes. When Korra and Asami return from the Spirit World, someone will be there trying to make the area around the spirit portal into an amusement park. There's also something about the triads and the outskirts of Republic City, where the population was evacuated from during Kuvira's attack. About Bolin, I wish he remained having his own existence separate from Mako. His mover career with Varrick and his Earth Empire time under Kuvira allowed him to do stuff separate from him. Bolin working for the police sort of puts him under Mako's wing again, which to me is a character regression to him. The only thing right now that Bolin has is not even on his own, that being his relationship with Opal. Not specifically about architecture, but at the end of Book One and beginning of Book Two in AtLA, Pakku mentioning a group of northerners would go south to help rebuild got her excited about her tribe being restored. Her dislike of the current state of the southern tribe is nonsensical at best. It's like she expected it to be restored to how the tribe was when her mother was still alive, instead of getting even bigger. I fully expect Katara to see Malina and Hakoda together as a personal insult or betrayal to the memory of her mother. Sokka not so much, as being with Suki after having lost Yue is somewhat similar. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 00:19, October 24, 2016 (UTC)

Isn't your expectation of Bonney's awakening affecting other people's ages already a thing (turning marines both old and young)? For the moment their scattered, but next arc will surely feature Kid, Killer, Drake, Apoo, Hawkins, Zoro and more of Law on Wano. --Sarutobii2 (talk) 18:35, October 23, 2016 (UTC)

The Gorosei noted Marco was a contender to become Yonko, so seeing as Mihawk is supposedly above his power level, he would be a prime candidate if he was an active pirate with a crew. But considering he is known for being laid back/not willing to fight (as noted by Kizaru & Akainu), i would imagine those qualities would prevent him from seeking the title. --Sarutobii2 (talk) 03:38, October 25, 2016 (UTC)
Saw somone post this and though you might like it.
"Luffy is staying in his spot for Sanji's sake. So that if Sanji decides to come back, he sees Luffy there waiting for him, keeping his promise. Until then he's going to fight the "enraged army" of Big Mom and not run away no matter what. This reminded me of what Garp said about Roger when he was talking with Dadan. Garp: "Even when he faced a cloud of enemies beyond his power, Roger would never run away." Dadan: "Was he suicidal? Running away is a strategy too." Garp: "That's right but he'd never do that. Because he'd leave the people he loved behind. If he ran he would put his crew in danger. Actually, "he wouldn't run away" isn't quite right. He wouldn't let the enemy have a chance to go after his crew. He'd change into a sort of Demon in those situations. He once destroyed the entire military of a country because they talked bad about his crew. He'd become violent when angry. He was that reckless but he survived and became the Pirate King." --Sarutobii2 (talk) 07:37, November 3, 2016 (UTC)
Agree with you about Luffy pulling Haoshoku Haki out of his ass to wipe half the army, but it's a dick move on Luffy's behalf for refusing to budge from that spot, considering how vulnerable Nami is atm. I like your idea about the clone army being relevant someway again. As for your 2nd prediction, i just can't see Sanji leaving just yet, especially when Oda can use another character (like Jinbe) in his place to assists Luffy, while also continuing the wedding. --Sarutobii2 (talk) 12:33, November 7, 2016 (UTC)

I can imagine the result was shocking, although it did not surprise me personally that much, to be honest.
I don't know if it helps, but don't worry too much about what's going to come. Nobody knows what he really stands for in the end, and I think (and also hope) that he won't do even a bit of what he said he would. In the end, populists are mostly talk, nothing else. Just look at the BREXIT masterminds dissapearing one by one within 1 week or so after the referendum.
And even if he should push some of his aggressive ideas forward, just remember he may be the first president with more than half the country vehemently against him. I don't even think Bush had so many opponents. That alone shouldn't make things as easy for him as his supporters may wish for. Norleon (talk) 11:16, November 10, 2016 (UTC)

I've reported the mass spam to the VSTF via VSTF Wiki and Discord. It'll all be cleaned up when they get a chance. Meanwhile, I would recommend not wasting your time performing any further local blocks: as you already indicated, they're making the accounts elsewhere, so these blocks are pointless entries for obvious spambots. --Sajuuk 08:40, December 14, 2016 (UTC)

Going into the year of Sanji, i expected him to be kicking major ass throughout the entire of 2016, but quite the opposite happend. If Buso Haki black flamed Diable Jambe becomes a thing, that will make up for the lack of Sanji action.

According to one of Oda's editors, the Whole Cake Island arc was about at its half-way point at the start of this month, which is followed by the Reverie arc, and also in 2017 is the Wano arc. With the latest development that the charlotte family not intending to make an alliance with Sanji's family, the Vinsmoke Family will keep there royalty status and be able to attend the reverie if they're still alive.

Do you have anymore predictions since we've last talked? My new predictions include Caribou telling Kaido that Shirahoshi is Poseidon, possibly leading to the yonko attempting to storm the reverie in-oder to capture her since that will be the only time she'll be above ground. And my final prediction is that Luffy won't fight or at least defeat Shrek aka Big Mom, due to the fact luffy couldn't defeat Cracker or Doflamingo in a proper 1v1. The only way i see Luffy defeating her this arc is with Gear 5th, or some kind of boost in strength from the Germa Kingdom. --Sarutobii2 (talk) 08:28, December 28, 2016 (UTC)

I think one of us called Jinbe coming to Luffy's aid. --Sarutobii2 (talk) 04:45, December 31, 2016 (UTC)

Oda does have a habit of extending the story throughout the years. Originally he said Sykpie was the half way point of the manga, so you might be right about Wano. Agree that she's too powerful to face 1 on 1, but the remainder of the arc might turn out like the Impel Down formula where Luffy rescues everyone, (in this case Brook/Sanji & perhaps other people in the book prison) can't defeat the main villain, and eventually escapes with the group after recovering the Poneglyph blueprint. Wano would make for the perfect time for that flashback and the backstory behind Zoro's eye. Im fine with Sanji's bracelets being fakes, as in the case they were real Luffy most likely could of removed them asap like Rayleigh did with Keimi's. Im also glad we're not getting a Sanji depression mini arc :D --Sarutobii2 (talk) 10:31, January 16, 2017 (UTC)

Up to date with OP? The latest chapter was really good. Charlotte Katakuri's Kenbunshoku Haki :O

I was thinking about the significance the Tamatebako will play in the upcoming chapters. As you know the signal for Big Mom's assassination will be a gunshot, and since the whole gang will be using earplugs they will mistake the Tamatebako exploding for the signal, leading to the whole assassination abruptly beginning too early. The only other plot device it could serve is blowing up in Big mom's face and making her angry, but that seems too predictable.--Sarutobii2 (talk) 10:36, March 23, 2017 (UTC)

Sasuke Uchiha

I don't see why I need to go to the talk page or why you guys keep unediting it in the first place. It's been stated three times and written by Kishimoto himself that Sasuke shares the title of Hokage with Naruto. I could understand if all it was was Naruto saying "Sasuke's gonna be hokage too", cuz whatever that's just Naruto saying that but even after Naruto said that it was then stated in the Boruto movie that "Sasuke is the other hokage", and Kishimoto just released Sasuke's official character profile for Boruto which states the he is in fact the seventh hokage as well. So when I edit it to say that he shares the position of hokage with Naruto there should be no need for anyone to change that because it's not like what I'm putting is false, what I'm putting is actually 100% true and it is an extremely important fact to be put in Sasuke's introduction. Showing his journey and how he went from revenge on his brother to revenge on the leaf village to becoming the hokage. Djghostface292 (talk) 16:20, July 12, 2017 (UTC)djghostface292

Thought I'd give you a hand by looking at Sasuke's Boruto character profile. One doesn't exist as far as I can find. Provide a link to it if at all possible, please. ExyleCage (talk) 16:37, July 12, 2017 (UTC)
There is one, I saw it on redditDjghostface292 (talk) 16:49, July 12, 2017 (UTC)djghostface292
Reddit? You mean the same place where a Saitama fanbitch made up an interview saying that ONE stated in an interview that Saitama is as strong as the big bang? You can't believe everything you see on Reddit. Please donnot attempt to pass off things you've seen on Reddit as the truth when its users are notorious for spreading lies and fals information. ExyleCage (talk) 17:00, July 12, 2017 (UTC)
bruh, it wasn't just someone saying something, it was a screenshot of an official character profile, either way it shouldn't matter. Even if that character profile didn't exist it had still been stated twice in the canon that Sasuke and Naruto share the title and position of Hokage.Djghostface292 (talk) 17:13, July 12, 2017 (UTC)djghostface292
Unfortunately, it does matter. There is only one Hokage and the wiki for Sasuke will remain as it is until you can provide the necessary proof. Whether this means you need to post a link to a scene where they say it, or provide an actual link to a character profile is up to you. But you NEED to provide the proper references or else the edit does not apply. The rules apply to everyone. It doesn't matter what we ourselves want. ExyleCage (talk) 17:31, July 12, 2017 (UTC)
just so I'm reading this clearly, you're denying the canon? Like literally everyone knows that Naruto said Sasuke is the other hokage, Sasuke pretty much stated it himself in The Last just not so direct and more subliminally and then it was probably like Mitsuki or someone else who said it in the Boruto movie. Just saying, the way you people do stuff here is backwards. It's been stated about four times that he shares the position with Naruto but you guys still won't change it. It's honestly like really sad. Djghostface292 (talk) 17:38, July 12, 2017 (UTC)djghostface292
No, I personally agree with you. The mods have been monopolizing the wiki as of late. But it's still necessary to give references. ExyleCage (talk) 17:41, July 12, 2017 (UTC)

Song infobox

Can you please explain to me what a "portable" infobox is, and what your alternative is? I'm pretty familiar with editing Wikipedia, but I'm new around here. Apparently one doesn't necessarily translate directly to the other.

Also, if episodes have infoboxes, why shouldn't songs? For me it greatly improves the usability of navigating around song pages -- surely I'm not the only one who checks out lyrics and such.

So if I did the infobox the wrong way, what's the right way?

Lastly, you might should add something to the rules/guidelines about this, because I had no way of knowing that what I did wasn't allowed. – Garrett W. { } 01:03, January 4, 2018 (UTC)

  • Thanks for your explanation of portable vs SMW. I'll definitely take another look at the docs.
  • You're right, the info I added was redundant. My sole motivation was ease-of-use, and I didn't realize that infoboxes were necessarily expected to have new info that couldn't be found elsewhere on the page. While my edits were not intended as tests, you're probably right that I should have made them in a sandbox first. I thought about doing that but then decided I didn't think it was necessary for some reason.
  • My signature actually contains no images. What you're seeing are characters.
I see that I could have handled all of this in a better way and will try to do so in the future.

I'm going around the wiki and asking certain people for their personal opinion on the matter. I personally, don't believe this, thus why I need other's opinions. Some believe that in the Last Naruto Movie, that Naruto showcased the ability to freely control his Rasenshuriken in air without Kurama's Chakra Arms. I disagree, but I could be wrong and if proven wrong, will change the page to mention it. What are your thoughts Wind? LoneNinja (talk) 19:33, May 12, 2018 (UTC)

Didn't mean to remove the French name. How could i not be when the show is a masterpiece, and that was even before Maul returned. --Sarutobii2 (talk) 23:44, July 19, 2018 (UTC)

Liked every episode? Even the the mini arc about these guys lol? Honestly the 3rd movie is good, but i'll admit there's things they could have done better like not overusing green screen for entire scenes etc etc. Shame it wasn't made in this day of age given how nice the new movies looks. The show has no right being as good as it is, considering the main cast/armies have near identical designs (clones vs droids), and Dave Filoni has done a terrific job to the point the clone wars is my favourite star wars era. --Sarutobii2 (talk) 11:11, July 20, 2018 (UTC)
I agree the Star Wars: The Clone Wars movie wasn't terrible, and all the people I've talked to regarding Anakin all say his portal in the show is a hundred times more likeable.
One of things the prequels did better was the lightsaber fights, and it showed significantly during Anakin's fight against Obi-Wan on Mustafar in the third movie. I can already tell you're a lot more knowledgeable about the series than myself as i had no idea duel wielding had a name lol. Only thing i didn't like regarding lighsabers in the clone wars was Maul not using a double-bladed lightsaber, but thankfully they brought it back in rebels. And speaking of Maul for the 100th time lol, Sidious' fight against him and Savage was my favourite fight in the show. Shame Sidious didn't have that kind of mobility in the movies.
Considering Disney likes money i'm sure they'll do more than 12 eps, and fingers crossed all those fights you mentioned make their way onto the screen. Btw, how do you feel about the newest movie using puppet Yoda instead of animating him, and what's your favourite and saddest moment in the clone wars' show? --Sarutobii2 (talk) 02:24, July 26, 2018 (UTC)
Sorry for the delay. Just transitioning into adulthood, so RIP my free time . I agree that watching the show makes order 66 so much more devastating, which is why i would love to see the series adapt episode III. Savage was a badass, but he kinda got overshadowed when Maul returned. You're spot on about the bottle thing as well as the mixed results. It was always enjoyable when i noticed those Easter eggs.
Forgot about Ashoka leaving, which was pretty sad. That scene was executed so well. But the saddest scene in my opinion was 99's death. It gets me every time. --Sarutobii2 (talk) 07:47, August 11, 2018 (UTC)

Spiritpact Affiliation

Hello, would we be able to facilitate an affiliation between the Naruto and Spiritpact wiki's? They are both action comedy series with a similar atmosphere and setting. The Spiritpact word mark can be found here: Spiritpact word mark S3r0-Ph1i (talk) 16:12, August 25, 2018 (UTC)

Hi, I was writing this reply but it seems that the thread was closed before I could even do so: "Thanks, it’s good to make an effort for a worthy cause such as this and be the positive change you want to see. There are two for it so it’s currently a tie, also waiting on other replies and admins who can see the merits of this affiliation." Can the thread be reopened since it was still active? It's the one you opened here. The opposing side hasn't considered any of the points. Do you agree with the case for the affiliation? Fairy Tail does not have the same publisher and the better path for the wiki's is laid out. Since admins have the final say could you facilitate this affiliation? S3r0-Ph1i (talk) 13:22, September 4, 2018 (UTC)

Hey there, I hope I put forward a good case in the thread, overall there is only gains and nothing to lose. This is important, please understand the purpose of this affiliation isn’t to boost page views; I’ll remain dedicated to building the wiki in the long term regardless. The true most important reason is simply to affiliate similar themed wiki’s, it revolves around Naruto and Spiritpact sharing a similar world, themes and messages. They’re kindred spirits that would be nice to affiliate. That’s all it is, it’s a unique thing only Fandom wiki’s seem to do. I was committed and put in the effort so at the time there would have had more than enough votes in favour, but that was when the thread was closed because it was set to succeed. I’ll be maintaining the Spiritpact wiki so it won’t fall into disuse I promise. Though like I say the main reason is the right one, namely to affiliate similar themed series. It’s the symbolism that’s important, and if it helps people find a new series in one another, all the better.

Since the vote would have succeeded on your terms, and that ultimately admins decide affiliations anyway, may this one go ahead? Affiliations are good for everyone with absolutely zero drawbacks; there is no harm whatsoever. Why settle for a non-changing cold reality when we have the power to make it nicer? Can we together affiliate the sites and have Spiritpact be the currently empty sixth space on the affiliates section? S3r0-Ph1i (talk) 15:06, September 6, 2018 (UTC)

Hi, may we finalize the affiliation between Naruto and Spiritpact by sharing the word marks and uploading them onto each respective affiliates box? S3r0-Ph1i (talk) 20:48, September 12, 2018 (UTC)

There are two Sysops who have told you no. Windstar hasn't said yes either. What makes you think you can finalise the affiliation? It's not going to happen, dude. • Seelentau 愛 11:38, September 13, 2018 (UTC)

Hi WindStar7125, since you’re busy, may I take your silence that I can exchange word marks on your behalf? Between us, we have had the procedure and the outline of all the best reasons for the affiliation. I’ll check periodically, but when you’re next on if you would like me to add Spiritpact’s word mark to Naruto’s affiliates box, and vice versa as per our affiliation then don’t reply to this message. S3r0-Ph1i (talk) 18:34, September 29, 2018 (UTC)

Hi, it’s okay I understand, we all have commitments and we stick to our hobbies like this when it’s convenient. Don’t worry at all; I was waiting patiently whenever it suited you.

Rest assured I’m professional enough to wait for your response, as stated that’s what I intended. Between us, it may go without saying that I would not ignore parts of your message, neither do I have selective glasses to see what I want! What I meant was I was awaiting your reply to my answer to your second one. With you I feel I have been treated fairly, you took the time to explain, and generously provided an example. I must thank you for it, more so when compared to the treatment I’ve been given by other users, no one deserves that. As I say, your reply is whenever is convenient for you, my follow up message came down to the fact that I was not sure if my messages were showing – on occasion I myself do not receive a notification for people’s replies.

I must clarify that by exchanging the word marks on your behalf was suggested solely to save you the trouble. I figured since I was initiating the affiliation, that I should do the heavy lifting so to speak. Further, as I suspected you were busy and this was again a means of doing the work for you if you had business elsewhere. I was given the impression that only one admin was required hence why I asked you. In addition, I emphasised that I would await your reply and so my message was meant to invite your opinion after my response. If you saw that someone wasn’t responding to messages how would you check to see if they were even receiving them?

You are correct, my intentions are indeed good for both our sites, and for the fandom site overall. Since it is now clear that the means taken were good in their intent and outcome (to save you the effort, and for me to be of additional use for the site). Also, that it wouldn’t be right to change your mind for mistaking my good intentions for something else (I will strongly protest being mistaken for that), with this issue clarified, and that the vote you set would have gotten the necessary support, with everything cleared up can the affiliation with Spiritpact now go ahead? It would mean a lot to affiliate these similar series, it's all about them after all. S3r0-Ph1i (talk) 22:10, September 29, 2018 (UTC)

So it implies she is a doctor, and remember she was treating the wounded in Medical Department in Boruto, so please add Doctor in her occupation list at least with a ^(Novel Only) sign. Also isnt she the leader of Yamanaka Clan? If you wouldnt add either, plss lemme know why. 😊 22:28, June 2, 2019 (UTC)
