Utakata (ウタカタ) was a shinobi from Kirigakure and the jinchūriki of the Six-Tailed Slug. The Six-Tails has been captured and sealed by Akatsuki, causing Utakata's death when the beast was extracted.
Personality
In the second Naruto artbook, Kishimoto described Utakata as "charming".
Abilities
Utakata fought using soap bubble (しゃぼん玉, shabondama) ninjutsu from the Bubble-line (バブル系, Baburu-kei) of ninjutsu.
Trivia
- Utakata (泡沫) refers to bubbles on the surface of a liquid. Idiomatically, it also means "transient," "ephemeral."
- Utakata's sash in the splash page was red, but in the 3rd art book he was shown to have a yellow sash.
