Yūki Minazuki (水無月ユウキ, Minazuki Yūki) is a jōnin from Konohagakure and the former leader of Team 2.
Background
Under his leadership, Team 2 was formed by the best genin at that time and they were given the symbolic position of guarding the Fire Daimyō during his annual visit to Konoha. However, Obito Uchiha’s attack claimed Tenma Izumo's life and caused Shinko Inari to quit being a shinobi.
Personality
Yūki is a funny individual who, according to a ninneko, wasn't very popular with women. It was noted by Danzō Shimura that Yūki has a petty, jealous streak, and does not take kindly to prospective Genin who outclass him in skill. He had sent several genin like this back to the Academy, and while he could not do the same to Itachi Uchiha, it was believed to be the reason he did not personally recommend the boy for the Chūnin Exams.
Appearance
Yūki has long, brown hair tied into a ponytail and a goatee. He has black eyes. He wears a standard Konoha uniform.

- When written as 勇気, it means "courage".
- When written as 有機, it means "organic".
